Awesome rack. Awesome seller. Awesome after-sale service.
The rack looks great, very sturdy, and very easy to assemble and install. It fitted my hummer H3 beautifully. But what impressed me more than the rack itself, is how great is the after sales service. I lost the keys to the rack lock and they sent me a replacement as soon as I informed them free of cost. It wasn’t really about the money, but responsiveness, politeness, and friendliness was top-notch.Special thanks to Stella at Hyperax for sorting out the keys and for being so helpful.

Awesome Little Rack
If you need a budget small rack, this is the ticket. This is a great little rack, it came with brackets to attach to my existing roof rack, super easy to install and it will be easy to remove if I don't need the basket. Well made and sturdy, although it got banged up on shipping and cracked a plastic (non-critical) part. I got in touch with the warranty group and then sent out two of the parts in record time, so a good 5-star vote for the support group at Hyperax.

Overall decent rack, but a few changes/upgrades would make it great.
**quick update** I really torqued down on the bolts that join the halves again and added 20mm urethane exhaust hangers under the bars to the outside of the mounting points, and added washers to the mounting brackets (kit only comes with split rings for the mounting hardware which got wedged into the slot, spreading the bar which caused it to flex more than it should.. See picture). Now it's pretty dang sturdy and rigid and I'm a happy camper. I also made a full size fairing to replace the included one.Purchased: 61" version.Packaging: well packed and all hardware well organized. The wind fairing came with a chip in the powder coating in the corner, but this must have happened at the factory as it was well protected in the box/in its own plastic bag (with no paint chips visible inside).Instructions/assembly: instruction booklet was one of the best I've seen for something like this. Clear images, proper written instructions. Assembly was straight forward and relatively easy. Only issue I ran into was somehow one of the hex screw heads stripped. All the other ones were just fine, but the one that stripped completely was for the removable upper crossbars/supports so now it's stuck 2/3 in and no way to remove it.Construction & design: great size and overall well made/executed. All the pieces/holes lined up perfectly and the welds and powder coating looked good. There are a few design decisions that could become bigger issues down the line: 1) the two halves of the basket simply butt up against each other and are bolted together with a couple of plastic lined thick metal U's that go over the butted ends, but the tolerances of these brackets leaves a slight gap between the butts and between the brackets and the basket frame. Once installed on the roof rack, you can see the basket flex in the middle a bit if you put some weight in there. 2) the slotted bars where you put the mounting hardware should be made of thicker metal or have better reinforcement along the whole length. After installing it on my car, you can see it flex/twist with a moderate amount of weight/force. 3) the bottom crossbars at the mated ends should've been made with beefier metal tubing, like the same size as the ones used for the perimeter, or oriented vertically instead of flat to make it more resistant to downward force/flex.All that adds up to a basket that isn't as sturdy or rigid as it could be, and if you give it a moderate shake while installed on your car, you can see it flex and wiggle at all those problem points. Not sure how it will hold up long term, especially when loaded regularly with weight. My old basket, a rhino rack X tray clone, was solid as a rock.Noise: I didn't hear any noticeable wind or noise when driving on the roads/freeway for about 60 miles so far. The included wind fairing is nice, and made of powder coated metal. This should stand up better than plastic options (the plastic one on my old basket cracked when it was struck by a rock).Security: the included lockable covers for the mounting points/screws is a great bonus and should deter most people from trying to steal the basket. You also get a bungee net to secure your load.***Customer service update*** customer service has been outstanding. I contacted them about the screw issue and they have been quick to respond and very helpful. They work directly with their engineers to help solve problems, and they provided me a video they made specifically to help with my situation. When I purchased this, there were no reviews so I took a gamble as I liked that the upper crossbar/supports on the basket could be fairly easily removed for carrying kayaks/paddle boards.Overall, I'm ok with my purchase. But time will tell how much I end up loving this rack. For now I'm giving it a 4 star rating, and will update accordingly as I get some more use out of it.

Solid and sturdy
I carry up to 200 pounds on top of my car's roof thanks to this very sturdy and solid product, which looks good too. The 4 locks are little bit flimsy, though. It also makes a bit of noise and it lowered my mpg from 37 to 35, but I would buy it again.

Reliable & heavy all-purpose solution
Great product. I use it with my Jeep Grand Cherokee and absolutely satisfied with the quality, reliability, sturdiness. It is heavy (~40 lbs/18 kg), but you still have enough room for your load (for my car it is still 100 lbs, on a standard factory rails). It is also stylish, not an ugly like others, so my car looks pretty cool with it. I like it.

No love from HyperAx Customer Service if you purchase a used product
Purchased an open box item from Amazon, arrived damaged and one missing but essential part which is made of plastic and costs less then $1 in materials… the best solution they (Stella) at HyperAx offered was for me to purchase $80 worth of random replacement parts in order to get the one little piece of plastic needed to hold up rear cross bar.Poor customer service to say the least…. If this is how they handle a simple request for a part that is highly probable of needing replacement… I don't want to know what their warranty process has in store!

Looks great, and does what it supposed to, pretty stout as well
Love the sturdiness of the rack and the powder coating, no rust issues. There is a little wind noise and I did loose a couple miles per gallon on gas but those are the only downsides. Disclaimer all roof racks will do the same, decrease gas mileage and create wind noise. I am very happy with this item. There was an issue with the back cross brace that came with a broken plastic end, but when i reached out to customer service they quickly got another one out to me! Great customer service, so easy and nice!!

Really good rack!
I am very happy with this product. Very easy to install, it is sturdy and works well. I was able to transport my 25’ sailboat mast no problem and secure it to the rail so it doesn’t move. I could easily put a kayak on there or anything else that would fit. No complaints or negatives to report. The part that sold me is having the ability to remove the cross bar for big objects like masts and other stuff and still sturdy enough to handle it.

Dented and Scratches
The item is awesome. Sturdy, quite lightweight, and looks great! I manage to install it alone by reading some useful previous buyers' reviews and watching the product brand youtube tutorial. Installation is fairly easy with minimal parts. My disappointment is with either the courier company or amazon themselves. The product reached me with dents and scratches. Quite visible under the sun. Luckily the dent was on the underside of the basket. The basket was delivered to me half assembled, which makes me think amazon might have sent me a returned batch. I don’t think it’s feasible to get it returned coz I'm in Singapore.

Easy assembly
Easy to assemble. Looks really good. After a winter the rivots holding the name in rust, I plan to just replace them with bolts. 10 minute job.
