Premium Garage Door Seal (4.4m)

Got this to help seal up the front of the garage at the bottom of the door and for its great aesthetic looks.Wiped clean, wire brushed and then cleaned the concrete with white spirit. Also abraded the underside of the strip with the wire brush.Trimmer the strip with a Stanley knife so it fit tight between the door ends.Tested the up and over door had enough ground clearance and then used a pencil to mark the adhesive strip.The Everbuild Stickall adhesive is very gooey so applied in 2 passes in a triangular pattern.Rolled up the strip and carefully unfolded it so it laid neatly on the adhesive.Once down shuffled it into a straight line along its length.Applied hand pressure, with my body leaning over it, several times.Lastly sealed the edges and smoothed with a wetted finger.The caulk tube has more than enough adhesive for this 14 foot length.Grabbed very quickly, within minutes and looks excellent, great front for the garage door.

The rubber strip was heavy duty and excellent quality, the issue that I had was that for the length of strip only one tube of adhesive was recommended. Luckily I anticipated needing more and ordered a second tube and needed to use both. If I had relied on the recommended single tube the installation would have been a disaster

This is the second time I've bought this product, having moved house and wanted to seal the bottom of my new garage door.It works really well, and is very easy to fit. Looks very professional too.Massively reduces the rubbish you get blowing into your garage. I had a pest exterminator to the house recently, and he said they're excellent for keeping mice out too.

I was able to sort it out my garage door leaks. The adhesive looks like will stay for a long time

Excellent product - now glued strongly to the garage floor. So far has stopped all the old pools of water which seep under the garage door during heavy rains, and for additional benefit, gives a very clear indicator as to where the bottom of the garage door will sit, thus ensuring kids bikes etc are kept away from the descending door.

Unwieldy and not entirely effective....it would be far better if it had a self adhesive backing. The mastic is insufficient and really messy. Only embark on this if you're naturally handy...which I confess I'm not...
