Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin 2 : Garma

Bought for my son as a gift and he loves it. Looks great on his bookshelf!

Bought for a present. Exactly as expected.

I feel like a tool but I'm pretty much going to repeat what I said about the first one. Fantastic retelling of the original Gundam story, amazing art by the original character designer (but not mechanical designer), Yoshikazu Yasuhiko. Fantastic hardcover volume. Covers the story from the first mobile suit battle on earth after the landing of White Base at the end of the previous volume up until the final battle against Garma Zabi. The bonus at the end is an interview with the female mangaka group CLAMP about the influence Gundam and Yoshikazu Yasuhiko has had on them, as well as a special illustration drawn by them. Gundam fans, buy this. Really, buy them all. They're products of fantastic quality. They are worth owning and might be a gateway to even more Gundam mangas coming out officially in english, like Crossbone Gundam and Char's Deleted Affair.

Just like the first book this will have you hooked the moment you glance upon it. With detailed art, explosive battles and classic Gundam shenanigans makes this a must have for Gundam fans.

On time and in perfect condition, really enjoying this series and will definitely be ordering the rest

Não tem o que falar dessa edição de luxo da vertical. É emoção página a página de ter uma obra prima do Tomino em mãos, com uma releitura do Yasuhiko que trabalhou em conjunto na série original. Quando se lê, sabe o porque Gundam é o que é hoje, um dos três grandes clássicos (junto com CDZ e Dragon Ball) até hoje.

Los espero con ansia para tener la coleccion un gran formato y pasta resistente solo deberían empacarlos mejor por favor

L'edizione PERFETTA per ogni appassionato di Gundam. Ricalca quello che in Italia è arrivato nella collana "The Origin" ma si presenta molto bene, con copertina rigida, alcune pagine a colori e degli inserti speciali a fine volume. È un peccato che non sia mai stata serializzata in Italia questa versione ma, ad oggi, è forse la miglior rappresentazione del manga che ha dato il via al mito. La consiglio senz'ombra di dubbio!

Although I relate to Char more than Amuro, I like how the story unfolds. Oh, this comic book is so heavy. The heaviest manga that I read.
