Garden Innovations Set of 4 Bottle Top Waterers Plastic: Great for seeds & seedlings

I have had difficulty finding bottles they fit but once I found one they work well .

These are reasonable quality plastic, not thin and brittle like some others. They are brilliant little waterers, I particularly like that there is a fine and medium spray option, and they make watering delicate seedlings easy. The centre piece with the holes can get knocked out if the bottle is dropped, but it just pushes back in.However, I have knocked off one star because they do NOT fit most bottles at all. They do not fit mineral/spring water bottles which are slightly bigger, or squash bottles which are slightly smaller, but they do fit fizzy pop bottles, like Coke or 7Up - had to buy one especially and then it got put out with the recycling and had to be rescued just before the bin men came!

After reading some of the negative reviews I was a bit worried about the tops fitting bottles. I have a very specific need for this type of attachment: having dogs on the property, I don't use weedkiller but I do need to get rid of weeds amongst my new hedge plants and other plants in the garden so I use vinegar - which will kill anything it touches within days. I can now get vinegar onto the weeds but keep it off the leaves of plants and surrounding soil. I kept a used up Co-op washing up liquid bottle and the tops fit perfectly and will allow me to squeeze the vinegar through a single nozzle in a controlled manner (just using the washing up bottle with its own top, the release of vinegar was too fast for me to control properly).The delivery was before the stated date and they arrived in perfect condition. I shall be checking out the garden centre website to see what other little marvels they have!I am very pleased with this item and a bargain at the price.

After a telephone conversation to the company, due to to-not being able to fit the tops on ordinary water bottles, I was advised to use a 500ml Sprite bottle. It fits perfectly and does the job. I feel the description for this product should mention whapt bottles it will fit because of the cost of buying different bottles to see which fit. Stick with Sprite. I have now given this company 4 stars because I am now happy.

I have been using these little heads for ages, until I dropped the bottle and broke one. I was surprised to see reports that they don't fit small water bottles. Well take it from me, they certainly do! I find it very convenient to water window sill plants with a small bottle and one of these guys.

Doesn't work with "most bottles" as claimed, does work with 1L Cola (the big brand) bottles. Remove the cap retention ring to allow the spray head to fully screw home. So it does the job I wanted which was to water seeds and germinating seedlings without disturbing the compost. Pricey for what it is. Would have liked a bigger angle to the head and perhaps a wider spray. There is another product which has a bigger angle. Going to try that. In different times I might have returned this one.

Two choices of roses for watering, either wide sprinkle or direct jet, with two of each. The only down side is they only fit the screw top of large 2L bottles. The screw top of smaller water bottles is too large for the roses to fit onto. This makes delicate watering difficult.
