Excellent product!
I’m really quite impressed with this cup and highly recommend it. When compressed, it’s nice and small and easily fits into a bag or pocket. When filled with a hot drink, it’s comfortable to hold and feels secure. The lid screws on easily and the hole in the lid for drinking is a good size and angle, which allows you to drink with ease knowing it won’t spill over you. It’s great knowing you’re helping the environment and it’s a bonus when in a coffee shop to either get a few pence off the price of a coffee, or an extra stamp for more coffees! The only negatives for me is that the cup is a little stiff and awkward to pull into shape and also to collapse down after use. Also after drinking, it’s best to rinse the cup out immediately, because if you collapse it down without rinsing then it’s inclined to leak. So I’d recommend putting it in a waterproof bag till you get home, if you can’t rinse it out before then. This cup is a great invention especially if you don’t want to carry a large and heavy cup around. It’s helping our environment, so I give it 5 stars and more!!

Great idea, love the product, but could be improved
I've used this product for many months now, I found the following pros and cons. Pros: collapsable, light weight, non-breakable and obviously help to minimise coffee cup waste Cons: not leak proof. the bottom ring can slip off, the silicone could retains the smell of liquid. On balance, I would still recommend this product. This is because: a) the pros are good enough reasons for me to buy this product. It's one of the very few good collapsible cups on the market - very suitable for travelling, and it's the only one (at time of writing) that offers the flexibility for 3 cup size changes, which are useful for different coffee machines. b) the cons are not dealbreakers and can be minimised/get rid of with some careful use. So, (i) although this is not leak-proof, it's spill proof - one can certainly make sure the lid and the edge of cup are aligned well before they screw the lid on to ensure the lid tightens well. By doing so, hardly any liquid would come out; (ii) in terms of silicone retaining smell, that applies to all silicone product, and can be easily get rid off, by spraying the product with baking soda and vinegar and then wash with hot water. It does not affect taste of liquid. And silicone is necessary in order for the cup to be collapsible (which was my main requirement). c) their customer service is also excellent. They had got in touch with regards to my criticism of the product and even offer to provide a full refund for any dissatisfaction. So it's good the know that this company really cares. In terms of further product improvements, I would suggest some type of ring-seal to make it leak proof, and also get the lower holding ring stuck the silicone rather than allowing it to move, then then this product will be close to perfect :)

Great buy - but don't give the lid to the barista!
This is a great cup - just started thinking about how much damage takeaway coffee cups do to the world and switched to this. The fact that it's collapsible means it takes up next to no room in your bag. The white is silicone and the red is solid plastic, so holding it round the red ring doesn't squish the cup when you're drinking. Just chuck it in the dishwasher once you get to work and it cleans beautifully. Couple of bits to add - the lid. When you hand your cup to the barista, don't give them the lid. They try to put it on, squish it down as you would any normal cup, and of course the coffee flies up everywhere and coats the poor girl in milky coffee - speaking from experience here. If you don't give them the lid, they just hand the cup back to you so you can put on the lid yourself. Other thing is, sometimes it takes a few attempts to screw the lid on properly. Once you get the hang of it, it gets easier. It's not insulated - you'd lose the ability to collapse it if it was - but I've had no problems with temperature. Still, would fully recommend.

Does the job
I've been through a fair few travel mugs over the years, they're either really difficult to clean, the thread seal breaks over time, they hold the drink at a way too hot temperature or I just lose them on public transport/leave them at work where they get taken by others. This one seems to fit the bill of what I'm looking for. Firstly it collapses for ease of transport which once you get the hang of the collapsing mechanism is really great and I can just slip it into my pocket when I'm done with it. I have noticed some spillage but I'm not entirely sure the thread was on correctly. It holds an 8oz & 12oz drink really well but does get surprisingly heavy with a 16oz. Temperature wise it holds a hot drink a little warmer than a standard paper cup would which is perfect for a bus commute but I think it would fail on anything longer than an hour. The build is good, whilst it does feel like it wouldn't hold up and feels a bit on the flimsy side, so far it has been fine. My only issue with it is that it tends to retain odours, especially at this time of year when pumpkin spice and bonfire spiced drinks are everywhere, but it hasn't tainted the taste of anything so far. I've also found the little stickers that drinks places use to customise your order doesn't stick on the cup so there has been a couple of times where I've had to hand my lid over to the Baristas. In all, a fairly decent cup. I haven't put it in the dishwasher so can't comment on that (just been cleaning mine with warm water and washing up liquid) but due to its build I wouldn't want to risk splitting it.
