Light weight for sure, but effective! We used two sets to get this look and arranged the way we wanted them. They hold the heat well. Wind has not been an issue at all for these.

After an estimated 2 one hour long cycles and a week total of these being installed and the pilot on they released so much soot you could barely tell the pilot was lit. You couldn’t see through the glass screen. They are falling apart and everything is a greasy black residue. I had to scrub with dawn to remove the soot.

I don’t have a fire pit because I am too particular how everything should look and I either didn’t find one that I really like, or I didn’t have the time to look - considering it might take days/weeks.When I saw these logs I almost jumped out of the chair. Placed on almost any fire pit, with flames coming through, they would look so cozy and inviting, exactly what I envisioned.I was anxious to receive them and they don’t disappoint. They look so realistic!Able to withstand 1000 degrees Celsius and advertised to be able to see even orange/red spots under when they are in the fire, makes me so anxious to see them burning. I hope to remember to take a picture and to update when I have my own set up.Five stars for these realistic looking logs.

These logs are super small compared to the current logs we have in our gas fireplace. I prefer the bigger ones. However, they are realistic looking and made like any other fire place log so they do work. They are just small.

These are a nice set of logs to use in a fireplace with a faux light / log / fire. I am not sure if they can be used with a gas fireplace, I will not try that.The top log in the box came broken, even though they are wrapped individually the top one was broke. when I examined it I thought it was foam, it is very lightweight and if it is ceramic and heat and flame resistant it is some space age material that I know exist as the space shuttle tiles were ceramic yet light weight and like foam. These are probably a similar ceramic and I only discovered this as they weight seemed odd and the one log was broken.In relity a nine log set is just the same as a ten log set to me so its not big deal but the manufacturer needs to know that this one was broken. I am still using it as I just placed the broken end toward the rear wall of the fireplace and on the bottom, no one knows the difference.I am using this with an elecrtric fireplace insert that I have placed inside of my fireplace. I have a gas fireplace yet the element was removed many many years ago as I am in Florida. We burnt real wood in it one year yet I did not care for the smoke.

My gas log fireplace has a pretty basic set up from when the house was built in 2000. It isn't the bare-bones cheapest set up out there, but it is not the more intricate realistic looking either, which is why I decided to try these. I love that they are individual and can be set up however you want, rather than firmly set in a certain configuration. That also lends to the realistic look. They hold up very well to the heat and look as though they will last a very long time...probably for life, or until you may want to change them out for some reason. The price is extremely reasonable also. I highly recommend.

Like I said in the header these were a bit smaller than anticipated but the fact that you’re getting 10 makes up for it. They’re good looking and replicate real wood. I know I didn’t stack them perfectly in my fireplace, I’ll have to find a good arrangement for them but they’re a lot lighter in weight than the ones I took out which is awesome. I haven’t actually burned them yet but once I do, I’ll leave an update on how they’ve held up after being burned many hours. Overall I am satisfied for them and think they’re priced fairly.

We ordered this for our camping when the fire bans starts, to add some ambiance to our propane fire. They arrived fast and look great. Very realistic and can’t wait to use. Would totally recommend this product

The media could not be loaded. I was a bit apprehensive about these logs as there is a few reviews saying the smoke and make toxic smoke and I haven't had that problem. I have combined them with a bioethanol burner and the look very realistic 👌🏻
