Gyroscope - Gyro Ball for Wrist Strengthening & Training - Light Up Gyroscopic Hand Exercise Balls

The media could not be loaded. I had one of these at home as a kid and it looked exactly like this one so I bought this out of nostalgia. Easy to use, love the spare string, I can get this stuff to spin really fast with either hand, and it’s great fun. Great little gadget to get some movement in on a work day. Here’s a video of me using it with my non-dominant hand. It’s just really satisfying when you can get it to spin like that.

I broke my scaphoid bone beginning of this year and been having physio which didn't really helped I invested in this and it has made a difference. My left wrist is stronger my grip better. It's brilliant for rehabilitation got me back using my left arm fully in no time

Bought this version after trying another. The other ball didn't have the string insert to get the ball rolling. This version works much better.

I can feel it working, I have had golfers elbow for a couple of months and the motion really is doing the trick I think, almost after a couple of days it is improving my strength. It takes some getting used to revving the speed up, at first I thought it was broken like others have said, the instructions are not particularly clear. Also the black rubber grip around it slips after a couple of uses so needs adjusting often.I wanted something I could use whilst watching television or chatting on the phone but it is has a very loud, horrid screeching sound to it (see a video within these comments another buyer has experienced the same). I was considering returning but then it would cost ME to return the item so will put up with it and use it when other family members are not around to annoy!

This is convenient to use wherever you get the chance to use. It feels well constructed and I can feel the benefits of using this, to help strengthen my wrist. I fractured my wrist 8 weeks ago and started using it to help with recovery from injury. I am currently using it it at a gentle pace but I do feel better for using it. Good value for money.

Complete waste of money, bought to strengthen tennis grip. Fiddly to insert string, trying to get a decent spin takes skills I don’t have, only spins for 10 seconds. Very little in the way of resistance exercise, a gimmick that doesn’t do as described.

There are minimal multi-lingual instructions with the product. When I first tried it, my reaction was like another reviewer's: 'Oh no, it doesn't work, it's useless' and so on. However, I persevered with learning how to start it and then move my wrist in the correct way. It was very useful searching Google and YouTube, for demonstrations and explanations on how to start and use this and other makes of such balls (they are all basically the same). Within an hour or two I had mastered it and it is great fun to use. Once you get the gyroscope turning inside it, the sensation of force it generates is strange but in a pleasant way. The morning after using it, I could feel that my wrists and forearms had had a workout. Exercise equipment that is fun to use is more likely to stay in use than end up abandoned in the back of a cupboard.I liken getting used to this ball to learning how to use a yoyo. You can't get it to work at first but perseverance is the key and then it's great fun.
