It was ideal for replacing old Velcro without the need to sew

This is a reasonable quality tape.

The drawback is that the adhesive on the product is not as strong as the Velcro bond so when separating the two parts, the Velcro parts company with the wooden batten to which it is attached. Reinforcing with copious staples helped but the 'self-adhesive' aspect is not very useful at all.

Ideal width and length for what I need. Replacing button and poppers on my duvets. It will be less fiddly to open and close to launder.

When I came to use this velcro I had forgotten it was glue on. So prepared to spend an hour sewing it to the upholstery covered I had originally bought it for. However the hooky part of the velcro was stuck to the covers within minutes and works perfectly so have it five stars however have down graded as it worked for six months. I didn't need the smooth part of the product as the furniture the covers are on already had them in place. The glue saddly dryed out and failed so obviously wouldn't survive a wash. Tried to sew it into place and the glue residue just clagged up the needle and made it impossible to sew. Possible useful for small craft projects but pretty poor performance on my covers.

I used this for putting up my roman blinds. I didn’t know that you get get sew and stick so this is a great idea. I used a sewing machine to stitch rather than hand sew but I’ve now had the blinds up for 2 weeks with constant use and the adhesive half has stuck 100%. This has opened up many creative ideas for me.

This type of Velcro is both the soft and hooked sides in one. The biggest benefit is it doesn’t feel rough or snag when you rub against it
