British Art: Ancient Landscapes

Very interesting book and looking forward to trying to get to the exhibition itself. Only slight criticism being that 90% of the pictures are of Stonehenge

Picked up a copy at the Salisbury Museum in the summer of 2017, when an exhibition featuring many of the works included in this book were shown. An evocative collection of paintings showing the ancient megaliths and chalk landscape works strewn across Wiltshire. Excellent book with first class illustrations — now treasured on the far side of the world.
