This brand (UGREEN) does not sell that cheap Chinese low quality Amazon garbage that you see everywhere on here nowadays. I've purchased loads of items from them over the years and they are always super high quality and good value for money. They are up there with Anker in my opinion if not better. Keep up the good work UGREEN 👍

I use this to connect a second monitor to my laptop and this gets the job done. I also use it to for the card slots, which also come in useful. This is a well made and sturdy piece which will last a long time, and I liked it so much that I have just brought another one to use with a different laptop.

Bought this to plug into my phone and transfer video from camera's SD card to a usb drive plugged into the same hub. Get about 130MB/s reading from the SD card, which is 6x faster than the camera WiFi. SD card to USB transfer went without interruption, cheaper hubs I have used will stop half way through. Only have a USB 2.0 drive so this was slow but I suspect with a nice new USB 3 drive this will be much faster. One thing to watch out for is if you unplug the pass through power connection, it will reset the hub and the file transfer will stop, so watch out for that.

Works a treat. So small & neat - takes up no room. Allows me to connect USB-B, HDMI, etc to a laptop that only has USB-C drives. These tools would otherwise be made redundant. I have not yet tried out the SD card readers it has.

I’ve been using the UGREEN 7-in-1 USB-C Hub for a few months, and overall it’s compact and versatile. The 4K HDMI output, card readers, and multiple USB ports work well, and it’s very convenient for laptops and iPads with limited ports. The aluminum build feels solid and premium, and the hub doesn’t get too hot during normal use. However, one of the USB-A ports stopped working within a few weeks, which was disappointing. The other ports still function properly, but this reduces overall reliability. Overall, it’s a handy multiport hub for light use, but quality control issues mean it may not last long under heavy or frequent use.
