This is a fabulous purchase. If you've ever taken something out of the oven - thinking it was done - and discovered as you're slicing that omg it's going to need another 30-45 minutes. Such a bummer to a greatly anticipated and perfectly timed and planned meal. Happened to my daughter at Thanksgiving. Timed it perfectly (you know, according to the online experts) and it was still cold inside. Doubt she had completely thawed out the turkey breast ahead of time. However, I had planned my roasting better and was right on time with this little gadget. Pretty well priced and accurate and FAST. Instant is in the description and it is INSTANT. It also has a magnet so I have it stuck to the side of my fridge that is near my stove. Like and recommend!!

I wanted a thermometer that did NOT pop open at a button -- had one that stopped opening -- had to force it and then kept open. Also, wanted one that was easy to clean, including area where tip recesses into handle.Had one that stopped showing #s because of moisture. This one claims to be waterproof -- and so far, that is accurate.Accurate at freezing and at boiling -- large numbers and backlighting if necessary -- so high hopes this will be just what I need.

At the incredibly low price I found this at, I honestly wasn't expecting much. When it arrived, I was impressed at how nice this thermometer was! Well made, solid, accurate and easy to use. Display rotates automatically - magnet to easily mount it if desired - even a built in bottle opener. The instructions were well written with lots of unexpected goodies in the box (extra battery, velcro strips..) Seemed to be a company that is quite proud of their product.

The kizen IP100 digital meat thermometer I used it on my thanksgiving turkey this year. It's very easy to use and provides quick and accurate readings. Ordered as an Early Black Friday Lightning Deal and received it on Wednesday just in time for Thanksgiving. Delivery was fast and well packaged. Comes with 2 batteries. One for now and one for future use. Might order more as gifts for XMas.

It's so easy to use and has temperatures right on it which makes it even easier to use.The only problem my husband had is opening it. It's a little hard for him to open with his bigger fingers

Battery was drained on arrival. Replaced the battery multiple times and each time I tried to use it again the battery would be flat even while kept in storage. Reached out to tech support who have been slow to respond and asking where the item was purchased even after sending them a screenshot of Amazon order. DO NOT BUY....

This was purchased as a gift for a blind person, and it is much loved. Batteries have not died yet, and it’s used constantly including for air temperature.

I am very pleased with Kizen Meat Instant Thermometer. It reads instantly. I also checked the calibration with an ice bath and it was perfect. The thermometer even came with an extra battery. Love that! Thanks.

The media could not be loaded.  Very fast readings. The auto turn on and off (when probe is folded in and out) is also a great feature. Comes with a magnet on its back so it can be stuck to the fridge.
