Lovely drawings from the master. I told bedtime stories to my kids over 30 years ago from these lovely books. I bought them both for my daughter so she can make up bedtime stories for her own kids.

I have been looking for this book for years.As a child it was my all time favourite book but my copy got lost in transit on my journey from Oz to the UK.I am so happy to have found a good used copy.I sat in the corner of the lounge and had a quiet moment and a chuckle as I read it and for a moment I was ten years old again.Magical book that just shows what a brilliant talent Raymond Briggs was, and it arrived the day he sadly died!

It is a great little book

If you liked the original, you'll like this as well, more of the same, lots of pictures for the little ones to examine, and interesting for them to imagine Father Christmas out of his normal context of snow and sleighs, and in the sunshine instead.These are relatively slim books, but dont let that put you off, there is lots of detail in the pictures and the story that you can bring out with your imagination and the childs. But because of that I'd recommend buying both together if you dont already have the original.

its a classic both for child and parent of whatever age . Funny observant , and priceless humour for situations we all have been through at least once .

As with all Raymond Briggs - brilliant. Granddaughter absolutely loves the film and loved this too.

Great book, but didn't arrive in great condition. Corners bent and needed a wipe over as was dirty.
