Swapped brand
Tried this following daughter buying the chocolate..I found this too sweet so invested in the strawberry which is always my go to.Nice.. not sweet . I add protein soya milk, chia, nuts and seeds plus fruit and put in blender. I was very happy! I changed from a non vitamin Vegan wondershake to this. Half the cost and more nutrientsEqually fine in water shaken. Dissolves good I foundAlready on subscription!

A big heavy bag!
Unlike most of the protein powders you buy where you open the tub and it's half empty, this bag was filled with protein powder and it was heavy! So at the very least you're getting value for money, there is a lot there. Myself personally I like the taste. I will be buying more!

Poor product and poor customer service
I’ve been using this product for many years but I decided to purchase it from this seller on Amazon. The product contains white lumps when mixed - see photo. This has never been an issue before and i suspect it’s a faulty product. I’ve tried to contact the seller but the contact details send you straight to Sci-Mx customer services - who have given my details to the approved Amazon Seller - but they haven’t been in contact about the issue. Poor customer service from Sci Mx and their approved seller!

Good value
Tastes good, much better value than competing brands literally half the price of anything else I would buy. It doesn't mix with a fork or shake well at all and is very lumpy unless you use a blender. It's sweet but not sickly and I think they've done well with the flavour(choc) doesn't leave a funny aftertaste or anything. I handblend with a banana and natural yogurt and it's very good!It says it contains all essential amino acids and seems to be doing the job but I have upped my protein across the board so hard to say exactly what the effects of it are but I consistently use it and like the product.

Does the job well
Recently discovered I was lactose intolerant, which meant that I had to throw out a giant bag of whey powder, and find a suitable replacement. I've had a few vegan protein powders before - never hurts to try samples - but this one is the best that I've tried. It tastes good, mixes well, and it's reasonably priced. If I didn't know it was a vegan powder rather than whey, I wouldn't have been able to tell.

VERY different than the smaller version
I bought the smaller bag of this and it was fantastic. I’m very fussy with protein powder and I’m fed up of the awful taste of protein works powders so I thought I’d give this a go. I tried the smaller bag which was excellent so obviously I thought next time I will take the plunge and go for the bigger one. Big mistake. For one, the taste is SO DIFFERENT. It’s much sweeter and sickly.Secondly, the protein amount is different per portion (35g for smaller bag, 33g for bigger bag)Thirdly, the scoop is different even though the serving amount is the same. So with the smaller bag you would use two level scoops, with the larger bag scoop you do one and a half which is so odd. Finally, the powder mixes differently. Usually I would have one serving of the powder, with 200ml milk and 100 water. This would be fine coming from the smaller bag, but with the bigger bag I need twice sometimes three times as much water for it to mix properly AND that’s using a blender.I actually did a test and got another smaller bag to make sure I wasn’t going crazy, but there are SO MANY differences that seem unnecessary. Unfortunately I will have to keep getting the smaller bag even though it’s more expensive.Bottom line: get the smaller bag because it’s astronomically better.

Frenziedly shake your over-sized beaker: high protein, yummy, but lumpy
I've tried the following dairy-free protein shakes: Vegan Gainz, Bulk Vegan (3 flavours), EarthChamp and this one, SCI-MX Pro-V Gain. It's the nicest tasting of the lot and the highest protein, though I did receive one iffy batch (Amazon refunded) and necking two of these a day caused my gut to react to the sucralose sweetener, which I now largely avoid.Vegan Gainz, Pro-V Gain and even EarthChamp tend to be pretty similar in value at about 30 servings for around £30. Bulk is much better value (but requires some mettle to get it down in any of the three flavours I've tried). Most of these things taste... grey, at best, but Pro-V Gain is chocolately and creamy ... though, if we're honest, still pretty bland compared to a really nice (whey protein) shake (at least, when made with water - perhaps trying some milk substitute or mixing it in a smoothie is the way forward). But it's the lumpiest of all the vegan shakes I've tried, however frenziedly I shake my over-sized plastic beaker. So, though this one would be my choice, the sucralose issue means I've largely moved onto Bulk and EarthChamp, which are lower protein, taste less good, but use stevia as a sweetener.
