Excellent pen for price
This pen is one of my favourites. Why?One, it's red and I've noticed it difficult to find affordable red coloured fountain pens, which is bizarre. Red is a favourite color of mine, and surely millions more on this planet, so that was a perplexing deep dive when diving back into the hobby. And secondly, it writes incredibly well. I used a pigment ink within it, one that responds very well to water and dish soap to clean out, and it wrote pretty wet out the box. I did some tweaking to make it a tad wetter for personal preference but it was already a really decent writer. It's also a really smooth nib, for a fine. I bought 3 more nib units for this pen in different sizes and same result, except for the extra fine. I've not yet tested that size nib to feel the feedback. My one and only nitpick? While the cap itself has no sealing issues, it doesn't seem to seal well enough for the nib to not dry out. Lot of dry/hard starts. Which can be frustrating at times. Nothing a little paper towel to wipe the nib with doesn't fix but it's a tad frustrating nonetheless. It's not the ink, I've other pens that have excellent cap seals and have never had a hard start with this ink. So I think it's just this one. Still my favourite every day writer regardless!

Very nice pen.
Where else you going to find a pen with Maple leaves? Bought because of my love of Canada. I use often just because it's a friendly pen to have around. Why, just those lovely people to the North of us. Writes well, and everyone oohs and ahhs over it. It only has one function and it does it very well. It writes. (Please don't get me started on the inanity of using the word functionality for a fountain pen.)

very nice and inexpensive pen
This pen feels and writes like something quite a bit more expensive. The build feels solid and the threading of the cap and section operate smoothly and don't feel too loose or cheap. My understanding of the long knife nib is that it's similar to an architect nib, which produces thicker horizontal lines and thinner verticals, like holding a stub rotated 90 degrees. The nib writes very smoothly and can produce a wide variety of line widths.

Excellent nib and ink flow
The nib responsiveness and ink flow really stand out in these pens. Size is close to a pelikan 600 so it works with most hand sizes. You can easily use unposted, but even posted it's not too large. Nice piston filler given the cost. Red colors and patterns are vibrant

Reliable writer, and BEAUTIFUL to see
This pen really stands out in my collection of fountain pens. I love this hue of red and the gold complements. It always writes when needed, even after being unused for several weeks. I also appreciate the weight of a solid, well made metal pen at times. It feels like a pen that will last a long time, while I know that even the quality acrylic and plastic pens in the collection will eventually fail.

Beautiful, Good Writer, Bad Cap Sealing
This pen is a beautiful design, and in the medium nib it's a great, smooth writer with lots of ink flow without being excessive. I'm docking stars as the cap doesn't seal particularly well, and thus leads to ink drying in the pen if not used for, i.e., 2 weeks, which leads to the stutter starts and poor writing. So if it's a daily driver it'd be a great pen but if you have a rotation it's less suited for that purpose. Would give it a 3.5 star rating if I could.
