It may not be the most attractive or elegant option but it works well and you know exactly how it looks when you purchase it. I have a heavy apartment door that magnetic versions can’t hold open. This does the job.

This was a great solution for keeping my back door open. It is easy to use, and the wind doesn’t slam my door anymore. You just hang it over the middle hinge and remove when you are done. It is a very simple solution to my open door issue.

I do not recommend this product at all. I purchased it because I wanted to keep my 4 yr old child's bedroom door open. I figured I would use this product to keep the door propped open. Well, Day 2 and his little Preschool classmate was over. They went into his room, and she tried to close the door. Couldn't close it, and kept trying! She basically broke the door off the hinges. A 4 yr old child. See pictures. My husband and I had to buy new screws, and re-hang the door in it's frame in order to fix it.I spent more time & money fixing the door than this piece of crap.No thank you.

I work in a senior apartment building, and the community room has a heavy automatic door that locks once it’s closed. I had tried various other doorstops and none of them stood a chance against that beast. The only thing that would keep it open was a heavy crate that I constantly tripped over and would get in the way of residents’ walkers and wheelchairs. This tiny little hunk of metal has drastically improved ease of access to the community room. My shins aren’t covered in bruises from tripping over the crate anymore, and residents with assistive devices can come and go unimpeded. I do wish it held the door open a full 90 degrees, it’s more like a 45-50 degree angle, but it’s still much better than anything else I’ve tried.

Works great, my toddler can't close the door when he goes into his room. He would constantly close the door to his room and then immediately cry because he hasn't mastered how to pull the handle to open it back up. This is great because he can't reach it unlike floor door stoppers.

Greta alternative to maintain a the doors open without drilling the door or the wall. The only thing is that will not keep the door wide open all the time. Using it; the door won't be able to close at all.

I have a cat that shuts doors. I tried a rubber door stop, but she’s determined, and works it loose, shutting all the rest of the cats into a bedroom. This was just what I needed! Very sturdy and foils the door shutting cat!

Extremely convenient , saves bending over and setting a chock.Only complaint is slight indentation damage when using to stop door opening as opposed to avoiding door closure. In my case, this is used on an out building, consequently not as concerned as you might be if you were using on more expensive doors.
