Get FM/SW External Antenna Box
This is a fantastic wee radio with a retro feel to it, got the dark grey color that gave it a classic look of simplicity. IMPORTANT- Get the FM/ SW external antenna box . Makes a difference, love the size, not too bulky, takes 2 AA batteries, reception FM is awesome, SW, is better at night, tuning is good, handy to have in case of power cut or phones offline. It’s more relaxing actually to listen to a radio that’s not an iPhone app, a wee red light indicates power on, has a headphone jack, that is very important for me, overall a great wee radio, hope it stands the test of time

The ideal radio for home or office use.
Excellent radio for just over €10 in Used - Like New. It's very easy to locate a station, even for the older person I bought it forThe sound and recpection is really good even without the ariel extended, and it's well made, not cheap or tacky in your hand.Perfect for an office or bedroom, I think and cheap enough so you don't have to worry much about it breaking if dropped.

Lightweight and Good Build Quality but let down by Speaker Quality
A Small compact radio - I found the Build quality and Finish Very good for the price, Midlands area found both FM and AM (MW) Signal Very good - SW a few stations but that is to be expected.Pros,Good Build QualitySmall and Compact and Easy to use3.5 mm Earphone socketUsed 2 AA Batteries ideal easy to get hold ofBuilt in AM Antenna is decent size but is placed at the bottom of the radio insideCon'sThe Built in speaker is nice and loud but the sound quality lets the rest of the radio just a littleThe Volume control needs to be smoother the slightest touch and i goes from quiet to loud to quickly especially on Speaker mode!Overall a decent budget radio, let down only by the speaker quality and urgent volume control other than that its a good radio that's compact and easy to useWould buy again and recommend

Perfectly good little radio receiver
Nothing to dislike at all. Pleasantly surprised to find a compact radio with decent build quality and above average finish for a very modest cost. FM works very well often without needing the telescopic aerial. Good clean sound quality. Not much going on on short wave but it was fun tuning in. Uses 2 x AA and has a power on LED, and I liked the separate on-off switch. Also there's a tilt prop stand built in. To use it with external power, you will need a USB mains adaptor or powerbank, and a USB to DC plug lead, size either 3.5mm x 1.35mm or 4.0 x 1.7mm worked when I tried them out. Can't go wrong for the money, recommended.

Compact and really good sound
This is a great little transistor it's got FM, AM and short wave. It doesn't have long wave but that doesn't matter. The sound is very clear the display is as you see. The gray color is neutral. It works perfectly and it can take a headset. I would definitely recommend it especially for future times when we may need transistors to hear the news if our internet goes down, or there's a war!

Good little radio for the price
Very pleased with this radio. It's small,13cm x 7.5cm but the volume on it is amazing. It has an arial but I have found that it tunes in to many stations without having to use it and there is no interference. It takes 2 aa batteries which are easy to fit. It also has a connection for headphones and if you really wanted to use one, a connection for a 5v mains current. I think it is excellent value for money

Great little radio for the money
Saw a YouTube review of this and just wanted one, partly just as a cheap battery radio that doesn't rely on the internet or mains and partly because I was fascinated to see what I could pick up on SW.It's compact, FM works fine without any need to pull up the antenna and lots of SW at night. Sound is ok, goes plenty loud enough and quality is not unpleasant. Separate power switch is good, better IMO than combining with volume. Really nice build quality and appearance - although a Chinese brand you may not have heard of I'd have been very happy 30 years ago if a leading brand like Sony or Panasonic had made this.Three things on power supply. I am so glad this just uses AA batteries, the radio won't get dumped because some proprietary rechargeable battery has failed. This is a DSP radio that has a processor running all the time it's on and I have measured the current taken, around 50mA with volume down to silent and about 60mA at a moderate volume. Battery consumption isn't terrible and I expect about 20 hours out of a pair of alkalines but not going to do 100 hours like the old fully analogue radios. Finally if you intend to run on mains power it will be annoying. The 5v input isn't USB so you will need a special lead and it is inconveniently mounted on the top of the radio. I would have preferred them not to have included this socket at all.
