More Time Pieces for Viola, Volume 2: Music through the Ages (Time Pieces (ABRSM))

Needed quickly for a music lesson. Arrived the next day. Good price.

This is a useful collection of transcriptions of melodies, some very well-known. As is clearly shown it covers Grades 4-7 but there are more for the lower grades than higher. Some of the pieces are listed in current exam syllabuses. I think it would have been useful for the compilers to give an idea of the grade for each piece. The pieces are in chronological order but not in order of difficulty so it is easy to find pieces of the same standard for different periods which would create a balanced programme of learning. A CD of accompaniments would be nice.

I'm learning the viola.These are well known classics, at, I guess, Grade 5-6 level.

Great Book but why grade 4-7 I will never know in one book?? But great buy, great sale no problems etc

WARNING! This does not come with the piano accompaniment. Despite numerous enquiries, no one ever bothered to contact me about this. Hopeless if you're buying for ABRSM exams...
