Well made, really good pan!
I love this pan! Due to it’s wider base, water boils faster than in a narrower taller soup pot of the same volume.. It is a good weight as well. I have an easier time draining water from pasta with this one then with a taller one. . I originally bought it for baked beans, but I have used it for everything but so far. The only thing I don’t like is, I am not a fan of brushed stainless. I wish it came in a polished stainless steel. But it is a trade-off worth making for me.

I love this pot
I had a large dutch over from All-Clad that I loved and used endlessly for about 5 years. It was coated with the typical black non-stick coating which, unfortunately; started to peel off. It needed replaced and this is what I chose. So wish I had gotten this one in the first place. I love this pot. It's much bigger than my gas burner but it heats evenly and is just a great pot. I love it. I use it mostly to make a huge pot of soup which has become a weekly thing to do since I got it. My family has taken to getting a bowl of soup whenever they're hungry. Tremendous reduction in the frozen pizzas and pot pies. This pot assists me in making wonderful soups that are much healthier and I believe saves me some money. If you need a really large pot I highly recommend this one.

The quality is far superior than I anticipated.
Amazing quality. Better than I anticipated or expected. The quality of the pot should last my lifetime and my children.

Great stock pot. I use one for water bath canning.
Very sturdy and well made. Some of the most "stainless" stainless steel i've ever used. Easy to clean and doesn't rust. Very difficult to burn anything in while cooking down stock or fruits/vegetables. I add a canning rack and water bath can in mine, Its far superior to any ceramic coated water bath canner pot. My only complaint is that the handles are spot welded rather than riveted, as rivets are much stronger. Spot welds often break given enough time and use. However it has held up fine for 2 years of heavy use.

Great dutch oven!
I did a lot of research before deciding on this dutch oven. I wanted something dishwasher safe, sturdy, budget friendly, large, and hopefully a pot that wouldn't show warp/scorch or other wear and tear with normal use. All the cookware we own are stainless steel from different brands. I assume due to user error they all currently hold those black/burn marks on the bottom. Not this one though. I used washed this in the dishwasher prior to first use and then used it on our gas stove to make a meal a few days ago. I was careful about not using anything higher than medium heat, the food was bubbling at medium since this gets so hot! This dutch oven held the food in the refrigerator for a few days and then went through the dishwasher again. It still looks brand new. I am so ecstatic! This is almost everything I wanted from my dutch oven. The only caveat is I'm not certain it is oven-safe. I looked at the manufacturer information and didn't see that it was or was not (I could have missed it). That would make this truly perfect, but I am very, very happy with it regardless. If there are more in this line other than the current stockpot, I will be sure to purchase in the future.

I have bigger and smaller pots, but this one is the right size.
The handles will allow you to carry this pot from the sink to the stovetop with sure grips. The extra (1/4) thick bottom facilitates even heat distribution while preventing burning. The indide diameter at the top is (11 and 7/8 inches). It is (5 and 1/4 inch deep inside), (5 and 1/2 tall outside)The cover is not very impressive but fits easily. However I had another "12 inch" cover shapped like a dome that fits perfectly as well and allows extra space on top for cooking something that is slightly taller than 5&1/2 inches. This pot is the right size because I do not cook frequently, but when I cook , I cook for a few days. Since this cooking pot (dutch oven) is not too heavy, the cleaning is easy.Note: I bought this item at a discount from Amazon. When it arrived I noticed a little brownish discoloration at the bottom. I concluded that was the reason for the discounted price. Then each time I washed and dried it, I wiped the interior bottom with a thin layer of oil, before putting it back in storage. It looks as good today (5/31/2022) as the day its arrived. This dutch oven found a place in my kitchen and delivered stability to my diet, by having the capacity to cook large amounts of food. I no longer feel jealous when looking at comparable pots that cost an extra $100. I paid $40 tax included in July 2021. I got my money worth and am very happy with the purchase.
