Small set, with only 34 pieces.
This is a good quality set of colourful magnetic building blocks (shapes) which come with a guide booklet, which has several designs for your child to try and create for themselves. It is a good way to start teaching children about shapes, both 2D and 3D, as they can build the various shapes easily. The magnets are strong, so the shapes hold well too and don't collapse. You get 34 pieces in this set, most of which are squares and triangular pieces, with additional isosceles and right angled isosceles triangles, along with window shapes and turrets. At time of review, the set is listed as currently unavailable, but for this small set, I would say it is worth £12 at most.

Cool toy!
This set of brightly coloured magnetic tiles are great for the little engineers or the big imaginations. My son loves building towers or odd shaped structures and these ,magnetic tiles work wonders for his imagination. They come with a sheet that gives you design ideas, and stickers so you can create creatures and put eyes etc on them. You get a fair amount of pieces in the box which is plenty to be able to build decent objects but not create a big old mess to tidy up.I do wish the magnets were just a little stronger, as some pieces do slide/fall off if he tries to move anything. But for the price I think these are a very creative toy and great for a Montessori setup.

Every family needs this set.
If you are going to buy one present for a child, make it this one. This is the new age building block, and it is so much easier for small children to design dinosaur castles or parking garages than toys of old. The magnets are strong, and sealed inside well enough that I don't have to be nervous around kids. My 2.5 year old is finally old enough to build things with help. It's suitable for all ages, because as an open ended toy the kids just make more and more elaborate creations as they grow older. We use these to practice patterns, color recognition, letter recognition (if you use a white board marker on the tiles), sorting, and many more activities. You can even use them on a light table to practice color combinations. Every family needs this set.

Educational
My daughter loves magnatiles and you can never have enough of them, really so I ordered these so we can build bigger palaces, castles, etc. I am pleased with the magnetic power, not much different from my old ones but a bit cheaper which I am happy. You get all the shapes and clear instructions. 5 stars

magnetic tiles
Bright and colourful set of 34 magnetic tiles. My granddaughters already have a collection of magnetic shapes and these were ordered as an add on set.The set comes with a leaflet giving examples of what can be built but they just use their imagination and create a whole host of vehicles and buildings.Perfect for a large age range, my 2 year old granddaughter enjoys playing with them just as much as her 9 year old sister.Would make a lovely stocking fillerHIGHLY RECOMMENDED
