I love this product. It gives life and shine to my hair while allowing me to get just the right style. It's way better than most pastes, because it doesn't make look lifeless and dull.I've already reordered 3 of these so I have more than enough for travel.

I really liked this product. High hold but two of the 5 containers I bought were halfway full.

This clay smells great and does a good job holding your hair in place. That's pretty much the last of the positives for me. I tried using it per the directions and I find them impossible. It states to use the clay in dry or towel dried hair. The issue with this is the clay is HARD. Like you have to dig to get it out and then once I try putting it through my hair that was a no go. It's so hard and sticky it just pulled my few hairs I could get it through.I ended up wetting my hair/hands and then it softened the clay enough where I could actually style my hair. I have no idea why they think you could use this with dry hair and hands, maybe I'm doing it wrong? The other thing that was disappointing was how it left my hair tacky/sticky. The usual product I use isn't sticky or tacky once it dries and I don't need to worry about it leaving residue on headrests or couches or worry about my wife touching my hair and feeling the sticky tackiness of it.In the end maybe this product is just what you're looking for, perhaps the very dense clay is the exact kind of product you need for how you are styling your hair. To me, I will continue to use my current product.

Works great for my sons hair

I actually ordered this hair styling matte clay for my son. He uses a pomade daily so we wanted to try something different. He wet his hair, got a pinch of the clay and rubbed it through his fingers before applying to his hair. Upon applying he rubbed it through being sure not to use to much. Then he used his comb to finish getting it throughout his hair. It was really difficult to get through even after working through his hands. After this dried his hair looked really dull and dirty. We tried for 7 days to give it a fair chance. It just didn't work for us. I feel his hair was to thick for clay. I am giving three stars because I think if his hair were thin it would have worked better. Hope you find my review helpful.
