This is very much a base layer for winter. I would probably use it under my snowboarding gear or something like that. I bought it to wear under my work shirt when it’s chilly outside or when I’m working out to act as a compression shirt. Make sure you buy one size up from your normal size these do run small. Only issue I see is the arm length is very long so it fits tight but I have to adjust the fabric to not bunch up on my arms/shoulders. I wouldn’t say this shirt is worth the $20 I paid but it does feel nice. Quality is okay. I can’t imagine this lasting very long due to the material used. Also, when I bought this is didn’t say it was a thermal. I honestly didn’t want a thermal shirt. I wanted more of a dry wicking shirt for working out.

Almost didn't buy this because I thought the brand name was gimmicky. Very happy I bought it, and I bought three more. Warm, great fitting, solid so far. I wear this and my gore jacket and I'm good down to 30 degrees so far. Seems to dry quickly--after washing, I just hung them up on hangers in front of a fan and they were good in about an hour.For the price, the value is excellent. Maybe some day I'll try an expensive base layer, but till then these are doing the job well.

We have tried some different brands over the years. These they say are the best ones hands down they have had Tesla and the defender ones. They like better than the under Armor which they both loved. These are warmer they say.

Bought for CHP hubby. He’s 5’8 and 190 lbs. usually wears a large and this was a large and it fit tight like it’s supposed to. He loves it. I bought him the cool ones for summer that let heat out and the warm ones for winter that keep heat in and they work very well and he loves them. Perfect for heavy cop uniform. I also bought the bottoms for warmth and they keep him very extra warm. He works in the snow in the winter.

Bought this for my significant other since he works at night next to the beach and lately it's been pretty cold here. He wears it as an undershirt on top of he's other shirt. The material is rather thin then I was expecting. He told me it's comfortable but it still let's the cold weather creep in. Hence why I'm giving it 3 stars. Really was hoping this would keep him warm but I guess I have to keep looking.

This shirt is perfect for lightweight layering in the Winter. My husband loved it. Gives you the just enough added layer of warmth in the winter without making your clothes too tight. Not like flannel which is thick and bulky. If you wear your clothes fitted this will work for you. For extra cold days you may want to wear loose clothing and regular flannel under garment.

It fits nice and tight like compression gear should be. I Had bought under armour ones before and the size is comparable. The length is longer then the under armour ones, goes past the waist by a few inches and is good on the arm length. I just received it, tried it on and haven't had a chance to determine how it holds up after washing and using for extended periods of time. I'm 6'2, 190 lbs, average build and I bought an XL and a L bc I was unsure how the fit would be. The XL fit but was a little long in the arms but was still snug. Personal preference on how tight you want it to be, I liked the tightness of the L vs XL

Shirt fits great, works wonders now that it's starting to rain and get colder where i am. Currently using it as an undershirt for my uniform while on patrol and it keeps me toasty all night without over heating me. Like a lot of people say the shirts do run a bit small so you may want to size down on it if you order.
