It's very useful tool for video works

Just tested it out. I can confirm no X Pattern or vignetting on my Nikon 24-70 2.8G at 24mm f/2.8. I even was able to put a thin 1/8 mist filter behind it still with no vignetting, and at full ND (7 stops) its dark enough to shoot at f/2.8 1/50. Polarizer ring does take some effort to move but its good to know it wont go drifting on you. Solid build quality. I'm a fan.

I’ve been using the Haida Pro II Multi-Coating Circular Polarizer + Variable Neutral Density filter on my Sony lenses for outdoor video and landscape photos. It has been outstanding. This is the closest thing you will get to professional high end Variable Nd's and Polarizers! Pros Combines ND and CPL in one filter, so I don’t have to stack filters. Variable ND range is smooth and makes it easy to keep shutter speed perfect for cinematic video. Polarizer cuts glare on water and boosts color in skies and foliage. Glass is very clear and the multi-coating resists smudges and water drops. Build quality feels solid with easy-to-turn rings and a sturdy metal frame. Cons Like most variable NDs, at the darkest settings you can see a faint cross pattern if you push it too far. Slightly thicker than a single filter, so check for vignetting on very wide lenses. An excellent filter if you shoot outdoors and want strong color, controlled reflections, and flexible exposure without swapping filters. It quickly became one of my favorite pieces of gear and it definitely deserves 5 Stars!

Solo lo he podido usar una vez, pero me llevé una grata sorpresa al ver mis fotografías. La combinación del polarizador más flitro de densidad neutra variable es perfecta. No hay viñeteo ni tampoco hay predominantes de color. Solamente hay que tener un poco de cuidado al girar el CPL de no variar la palanca del ND con los pasos de densidad que hemos puesto previamente. Más que recomendable para quienes nos gusta la fotografía de larga exposición.

Me gustó el filtro. Aunque compré el de 67mm, el filtro es más grande, de acuerdo a su tapa, el filtro llega a 72mm aunque la rosca sea de 67mm. Viene muy bien empacado y, además de eso, dentro de la caja tiene su propio estuche así que con ese mismo se puede transportar y tenerlo protegido Son 2 diales, al girar el anillo rojo se ajusta el polarizado y al utilizar la manija que tiene se ajusta entre las 3 y 7 paradas. Tomen en cuenta que el oscurecimiento es bastante así que es probable que para videos pueda ser demasiado. Pongo unas imágenes de ejemplo para que puedan comparar que tanto oscurece en comparación a no usarlo. En m caso, como lo quiero para hacer larga exposición de día, no me afecta demasiado pero vale la pena que revisen las fotos y la tabla de conversión para que consideren si es demasiado para ustedes Adicionalmente me gustó que viene con una tabla de conversión para la velocidad del obturador dependiendo de las paradas del VND
