I used the smaller butterfly of the two. It was a tiny bit bigger than what I could see from the product photos, but it still worked great! It was exactly what I needed. In my photo, I circled the butterfly that I made from the smaller cutter. (The other butterfly in my picture is from another butterfly set).

These are hard to work with, especially the little one as the dough gets stuck in it no matter how much flour you use. BUT, stick with it and try try again. The final product is beautiful with so much detail. We made salt dough decorative ornaments with these.

Worked great! Would recommend 50/50 fondant and gum paste to get the best results and sturdier butterflies. I only used to smaller version.

The cutters are so much bigger than I thought. In the product photos they show the small butterfly on just the corner of the cupcake. Even the small size is bigger than the entire top of a cupcake! They also are not plunger cutters. Not even going to take them out of the package.
