Exactly what I needed for at home sushi
Great quality and works great once you get the hang of them. Very sturdy but rice will stick to them but I put cling wrap around it with no issues. Great value for the two. Easy to clean

perfext
used these multiple times, they haven't let me down. the sushi always turned out great, and they haven't had a flaw yet. its been 6 months and I love them. Just put a few layers of plastic wrap around the bamboo between each roll sesh, and you'll get perfect rolls each time 🖤

Wash right after using!
Made sushi for the first time and thought this may help me out. Boy did it. It is sturdy yet flexible and really helped me get a good tight roll on my sushi. I learned the hard way that its best to wash immediately after using though. I didnt and let some random sticky rice pieces get stuck in the groves of this mat. They were not easy to wash out. Super hot water did do the trick eventually though. Drying was quick and they are so small that they are easy to store. Overall, great value for the money too. I would highly recommend!

Test and try.
If you love making sushi? This is a good combination. It does it job and it nice to clean. It does come with two as expected. When you have to wash it don’t use the washing machine due to the it being made out of wood wash by hand and dry. You can make any kind of sushi you want thank to this. If you don’t have this you wouldn’t be able to make a simple sushi due to the connecting point and rolling it. Try it out for your self and see what kind of sushi comes out of your creation.

review
It's a pretty simple product, it's easy to work with. I only gave it 3 stars since it easy started having splinters and I'd like to not eat that with my sushi. I did use with a seran clear plastic wrap but when I washed it, it's where I noticed, it seems to easily splinter.

Perfect for my daughter
My daughter is turning 21 soon, so we're gathering a sushi kit for her as one of her gifts. We plan to give it to her with all the ingredients so she can start as soon as she wants. She's gluten and lactose intolerant. I've spent her entire life trying to find new recipes I can make her to shake things up. She can't eat out easily, because nearly everything is made with wheat, soy, and milk. She bought her own gluten free soy sauce so she can eat sushi occasionally, but she's in her early 20s and we're not wealthy. She can't afford to eat out as much as she would like. I've taught her everything I can, and luckily, I did go to culinary school for almost a year before I changed majors when I was her age. I taught her how to make empanadas, gorditas, gluten and lactose free fried chicken, and everything for the sides that has no gluten, like rice. This is a wonderful addition. I even bought her a rice cooker earlier this year, so making sushi at home should be a breeze. I can't wait to show her how to use this, how to fillet the fish, how to vinegar the rice, etc. It's going to save her a lot of money, too.
