I love electricity so that's a good start for me. It's fun. It's very loud though. Especially when it's turned up all the way. What I found that help the noise level is putting a glass cup over the top of it. But it's going to be loud, arc flames generally do make Quite a bit of noise.

They stopped working
Within the first week of me having it, it already stopped working it just sparks whenever I plug it in and does nothing else. Do not buy this product along with any test the coil because the second one from two different brands that has done this to me.

Bad points first, the Tesla Coil was supplied with a two prong plug and a two prong UK adapter. UK plugs are designed for safety, so without an earth pin the shutters will not allow you plug in their adapter (DO NOT DO THIS but I used an electrical test screwdriver to poke into the earth pin to get their adapter to go in). You will need to get your own US to UK adapter if you wish to be safer. Good points, this is brilliant connects directly to my phones bluetooth, lots of square wave music on YouTube which can be played directly via the coil. Love it!
