I got this for work because my job is a real pain in neck, literally. I’m in healthcare and I verify paper documents 8 hour a day. Having my head bowed over these papers, day in and day out was causing me to have major neck pain, to the point where I was taking pain meds. I saw this on Amazon and thought what the heck, it’s worth a try. I got it and was impressed by how lightweight and sturdy it was. I like how easy it is to adjust the display angle, and the page holder isn’t spring loaded (ie stays in the position you leave it) which is perfect for my job, so I can just put papers on the stand without having to fidget with a spring loaded clip every time. It fit easily in my small backpack of a purse and didn’t take up too much room since it folds flat. So I took this baby to work and omg what a difference. I put my papers on the stand, did my job, and since my neck wasn’t bowed for hours on end as before, it is beginning to feel better. By the end of the day, I’m still feeling some neck stiffness but nowhere near as bad as it was before. Since it has only been a week that I’ve been using this, I’m hoping over time my neck will heal and the pain will go away. This little stand completely changed the ergonomics of my job, and as I said, a real neck saver. I plan on using this with my iPad and books too, but at work, this stand is indispensable.

I use meal kits from time to time, that come with large recipe cards. This book stand is perfect to hold my recipe card while I'm cooking, for easy reference and to keep it clean and off of any damp or messy counters. I also use it to hold my crochet pattern books open to the page I'm following. The stand is very stable and well made. Comes in pretty colors, too.

Great price, sturdy and adjustable, doesn't take up alot of desk space and I like that it folds up and can be taken anywhere. I bought a gray one to hold instructional Art books while I practice, and the cream colored one for the kitchen to hold cook books while I try new recipes. The painted finish feels baked on too, not something that will soon peel off like nail polish. I bought a third one for a friend who just went back to school and she loves it as well. Excellent quality for the price!

It was suggested to me that a bookstand would be a good idea for law school, since our casebooks are very heavy and you spend long hours having to read them. I love this thing--it is surprisingly sturdy, considering the price, and does exactly what it says on the tin--holds my casebooks! The bottom bar is adjustable, so it can hold a range of texts. It folds down flat and is pretty lightweight, so I regularly take it to school with me. Some of my classmates liked it so much they bought their own!

I love that I can put my bills and other documents for easy review and making payments. Helps me keep my desk organized and less cluttered!I love that I can fold it up if needed or have in different angles that I can use.

Several members of my stitching group had one and I tried it out. I had been looking for something that could be adjusted to hold one sheet of pattern or multiple versus looking at it flat on a table. I believe at this point we all have gotten one. It meets our needs to view a chart while we stitch.
