Can you use Lavazza pods in the Essenza

I am almost certain that you cannot. Lavazza pods do not match Nespresso and Nespresso-compatible pods.

Does it come with UK plug?

Well my machine came with a UK plug, as it should be as being sold in a UK market :-)

I have an older machine the M100 and considerable stock of pods. Will the pods work on this new machine otherwise they will be wasted.

Looking at the M100 model it looks like it uses Nespresso pods. If this is the case then these should fit the Essenza machine.

Why are the lights still flashing and no coffee is coming out

The machine needs to warm up, the lights will flash until it is warmed up. Once warmed up there will be a constant light, press the button of your choice and the coffee should flow. If the lights do not stop flashing press the lungo button (the one on the top right) for 5 seconds
