Q: What size key does it use? I bought 16mm but it doesnt work too big

the keys are inside. It tells you in the manual how to open the safe for the first time.

Q: why does it have a user code and master code?

I can only assume for security reasons in case the user code locks up the box, the master can be used to reset the user code. I gave my mother the user code and I have the master. From time to time, if mom goes too slow or mixes up the digits, the box will lock her out for a time period but if i was near by to use my master code, i could reset it quicker (this is all speculation m, nothing I’ve had need to try out)
