the seller is great, and i left him a good review for his speedy service and shipping, but i was not impressed with the padfolio. And it has nothing to do with the description of the item, or how the seller placed it, some things you just have to see in person to know it will not work for you. The color is amazing, and i love it! My biggest pet peeve with this is the closure strap. It is hard to push in and pull out of the strap. the makers of this really should of made this a snap fastner, and it was my fault for assuming that it was. I will probaly end up cutting the strap off completely and cross my fingers that it does not make the side binding unravel. Im writing this review so that others consider this before buying and not be like me.

I'm really happy with it. I gave it as a gift and ordered the pink even though the color isn't shown online. Very happy. It's feminine and professional looking. I'm adding a photo with it still in the wrapper on my white couch so you can see the color.

I purchased this product as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. He owns a small business and is an avid reader and note-taker, and I was seeking an affordable, but well-made and sophisticated portfolio for him to use daily. He loved it! The portfolio is a beautiful color, and the leather is soft, yet feels durable. Though the item is still quite new, it seems like it will age well over time. I am eager for him to enjoy this product for many years to come!

I wavered between 4 and 5 stars. The portfolio is what I was looking for, it's just slightly lower quality than I had hoped for. But the price was great, and I'm writing this review because I got a great email from one of the co-founders, one that promised exceptional service at a point where I had already paid. I didn't test this promise, but their making it at this point in the transaction strikes me as a very good sign.If you want a high-end portfolio, you're probably going to need to pay a lot more than this. If you want a good-looking, workable portfolio at a great price with the prospect of great service if you need it, this is the product for you.

This ended up being a very good value for the money. I don't think I would be able to find a better quality portfolio at this price point. Some of the less positive comments have called the leather cheap- this is clearly not the super fine quality leather that you might find in an expensive fine leather good, but the price point for that kind of portfolio, at least based on a quick search of amazon, is probably at least $50. This portfolio has blended right in to the setting that I am using it(professional job interviews) and looks and feels good.

This is an overall, very nice portfolio. For the price, it is an excellent deal. Here are my issues with it: 1. The smell is a very strong chemical/plastic odor for the first week or so. Easily fixed by rubbing down and keeping a dryer sheet in the inside folder. 2. The interior folder is too tight to slide a page into. You can fold and insert it but unless you really stretch it out, no chance of a page fitting in there. Next the goods: 1. It looks really nice. A lovely textured reddish tan, almost cognac color. 2. The flap closure is much better for writing purposes than a zipper running around the entire edge. All things considered, this is great for light work and makes for a great, professional, brown option for matchy people like me, because you can’t carry a black folio with your navy shirt and khakis.

As in this instance. A terrific faux leather padfolio that’s functional and feels sturdy enough. I was leery about the quality of the synthetic materials but it’s the same (or better) as the Cambridge or Samsill stuff you’d find in an office store for twice the price. I wanted a legal pad holder that could fold back on itself to write on my lap and had a simple sleeve pocket for loose sheets. That’s exactly what I got for a terrific price.

I needed a nice-looking, simple cover for my legal pads, and this fit the bill. I just opened it (so this review is not after weeks of use) but it has a sturdy feel and a great appearance. It is basic, with a place for the legal pad, a slot for some loose papers, a pen holder, and a sleeve that can be used for cards or whatever. But, that was what I was looking for in a portfolio--something basic that looked good. The company was quick to deliver (I think I received it two days after ordering). So, my initial thoughts are this: a nice portfolio for a good price.

I like this portfolio, it looks great in person, feels quality and comes with a legal notepad in already attached. I am glad I have this and would consider buying more in the future. I feel this is good quality for the price.
