These are fantastic and well worth the price, they’re heavy enough for beginners like myself but with the option to add additional weight, these will see use for many years to come.

Just one minor issue being that you have to be careful not to catch your fingers when separating and joining the weights together.

Quality dumbells! I bought these and the expansion kits so they now weigh 42kg each, it takes seconds to change the weight. I choose these over other types of spinlock adjustable db’s purely because they are more secure and can less fragile. Can’t fault anything, I’ve been lifting everyday for years and these are perfect for home workouts.

Keeps me going for at home workouts, very durable, simple, and effective. Worth every penny. Better than getting 20 dumbells for sure,

Great quality. Feel very sturdy. Pricey but replace a whole lot of dumbbells and take up a tiny amount of space in the home! Totally worth it if you currently or are considering working out in your hone.

Looks clumsy and is a bit but, most of that is in your mind once you get past it, also the same with weight changing. Hard to know what weights you have actually set, so mostly used as light, medium, heavier, heavy. But substantial and is very neat & tidy if limited space to store

Soweit ich weiß, war Powerblock die erste Firma, die eine solch kompakte Kurzhantel auf den Markt gebracht hat. Das System spart gegenüber den klassischen Kurzhanteln mit Schraubverschlüssen Platz und Zeit. Ich bin sehr angetan davon wie schnell man die Gewichte einstellen kann und dass ich keine Scheiben rum liegen habe. Die Erweiterung bis 41 kg ist ebenfalls ein Pluspunkt. Gegenüber den verstellbaren Hanteln mit Drehmechanik sehe ich Vorteile. Mechanik verschleißt und ist eher Fehleranfällig. Die Mechanik der Powerblocks ist einfach über Stifte und wird daher länger halten. Das System nutze ich für ein kleines Homegym. Nach dem Training sind die Hanteln schnell verstaut. Die Verarbeitung ist hervorragend und wird robust. Einzig hätte ich gerne statt Gummierung an den Griffen eine Rändelung. Abgesehen davon super. Den Preis zahlt man für das Know-How und die Robustheit und das ist es für mich wert.

I purchased the PowerBlock Classic EZ Curl Bar to increase the amount of exercises that I could do with my PowerBlocks at home. I can now to a more effective bicep curl, bent over rows for lats, and standing upright rows for shoulders to name a few. These movements are all possible with dumbbells only, but the adition of the EZ Bar definitely improves it. The bar came ready to be assembled and I had it unpacked and put together in less than 5 minutes. I have used it for 3 weeks and it is just as durable as the PowerBlocks are. The bar is easy to use and switches out quickly with the dumbbells. The only thing I don't like about the Bar is that it did not come with the 4 silver insert weights included. They are available separately and I plan on buying them soon just to make things more convenient.

Great for home workouts, these bars connecting the two plates are metal (not plastic) and seem solid. The grip was a little hard at first as it’s a smooth plastic but I think I’m use to it now, seems to have strengthened my grip. Easy to adjust and not super clunky, I’ve managed to do some exercises I didn’t think I could do with this kind of dumbbell (eg goblet squat) just by using alternative grips. Definitely was worth the investment for me.
