Zanussi Freezer Ice Scraper

I didn't realise bashing away at frost and ice build up could be so fun but here we are. This ice scraper works wonders and despite being plastic, feels flipping sturdy enough to sit in Michelangelo's sculpting toolbox. The only thing that irks me is that there seems to be a protruding edge at the top of the handle that is rather sharp. Obviously has its purpose, which I haven't quite figured out but the placement of it means that sometimes, when you're really trying to get some oomph behind the ice bashing and your thumb goes over the top, the impact of bashing said ice drives that edge into your thumb which isn't so fun. I'm sure you could file it down if it really mattered but then again, how often do you have to bash ice?

Scrapped the excess ice off from my freezer. Good sturdy product & hopefully will do the job for a few years!

This excellent little scraper was bought to use on a table top fridge with a tiny ice box. I used it after using freezer de icer spray and the combination was perfect. The scraper just got in there and lifted the ice off with ease. Where I could not spray the scraper finished the job. Sturdy plastic and tackled the iceberg beautifully.

Genuine part looks good

A cheap ice scraper. Does the job and I like the design but expect to have to replace it regularly as the corners of the "blade" break off in use leaving sharp edges. To date I have bought five, and the first four have all done this.

Defrosted my freezer easily with the help of this

Used in combination with HG, 2 x Freezer Defroster - which I have also left a review for. Scraper works well without damaging your freezer. Would have given 5 stars but they could do with making the handle a bit more comfortable as when you are scraping the ice it does put some pressure on your hand - I ended up wrapping the handle with a tea towel and that seemed to do the trick. Definitely does the job.

An excellent item to have when sorting out your freezer, so strong, with a really good grip to hold.

Toller Eiskratzer für den Gefrierschrank. Ist etwas größer als mein letzter. Dank der geschwungenen Ränder sehr stabil, hat auch ner dickeren Eisschicht gut Stand gehalten. Toll ist dass die Schabkante wirklich sehr dünn ist, somit konnte ich leicht unter das Eis kommen und eine dickere Schicht schnell vom Gefrierschrank ablösen. Absolute Kaufempfehlung.
