This table is perfect as an over bed desk or table. Something I just realized even existed. With working at home, the desk chair or kitchen table chair get uncomfortable, so this will help for the days when I need the extra comfort by working propped up in bed. The table easily holds my laptop, 2nd monitor and keyboard, with room for coffee and writing space for a notebook.The table is extremely easy together, no tools needed. (it does come with a little wrench if you need to tighten the wheels.) As mentioned in the manufacturer's pictures, Part 2 are the curved legs that attach the table top to the base pieces. One side is 3 to 4 inches longer than the other. You would use the longer side on the table top if you need extra length, or place the long side in the base if you need the extra height. I have a queen size bed, 14" high base and a 10" mattress, I put the long part in the base without any extension, and it is the perfect height. I may change this to place the short side in the base, so I can make it closer to the bed height, and use as a type of headboard (my bed does not have one) when not using the table as a desk.Because the length of the table is adjustable, you do not have to have the table portion be in the middle. This is is a great size for a queen bed, but being a right side of the bed person, I adjusted the length of the poles so that the table top was closer to the right.I would give this a actual rating of 4.75 stars because, though it is easy to put together, there are no holes or measurement markings on the poles so that you can be sure they are all the exact same length or height when tightened. Adjusting 1/2 inch here and 1/2 inch there was time consuming and and a bit frustrating. I am pretty close, but i know they are not 100% even. And while the table seems to move okay, I also gave is a 4 star for sturdiness for this reason.After a day's use, I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it.

This is one of the best purchases that I have ever made. I am a medical shut-in, and much of my life takes place in my recliner. I sleep there, I work from there, I eat from there, and I watch TV and surf the net from there. This table has made all those tasks 100% easier. It is well-built, it was quick to assemble, and it fits well over my big electric recliner. I was worried that it might be top-heavy, because I have a house full of rescue cats, and they can topple side tables and printer stands. But this thing is solid as a rock, and when they hop up on it, it barely moves. My last over-the-top table was a homemade contraption, and it shook like a diving board when the cats trekked across it to get to the top of the bookcase to look out the window. Not to mention toppling it twice. This table, though - no problems. I am thinking of buying another one of these just to use as a table for when I am in my wheelchair. It rolls easily, and it looks good. It is well-engineered, too. Two tighteners per "leg", and both sides are threaded inserts. Five Stars all the way!

I have a short throw projector in my bedroom at the foot of my bed. Due to the size and dimensions of my room this is the only spot I could get it and so the screen size was limited to like an 80” screen, (out of a possible 150”). Also, all the side tables and carts I tried to use as a stand had some thing wrong with them - too tall, too rickety, too bulky, etc.So when I saw this thing I thought, oh wow this could be a good option for me.And man was I correct. I am blown away that this was only $200 and change.It’s super sturdy. The metal is heavy. The plastic is thick. The wheels are smooth. There are no dents or chips. Everything fit together smoothly. I was able to put it together by myself in 20 minutes while drinking a glass of wine and talking on the phone. It blends in with the rest of my bedroom. The minimum and maximum height range is impressive and the width length is absolutely strong enough to fit up to a king size. (My bed is a queen).I would have paid double and been happy.I am not being paid for this ad. I am just that hyped about this find.
