Great wicks for soy wax
I used this size to make candles using the 8 oz tins sold here with the 3" openings, soy wax and essential oils and the 14 was just right. I like these wicks. They burn clean, provide a slight curl, which helps burn the stubborn essential oils, and when sized properly, provide a more than adequate melt pool. They were too small to work well in my soy/beeswax blend, so I will size up and try again, lol.I'm trying very hard to become a skilled candlemaker and CD wicks are perfect for where I am at on the learning curve. They are quality wicks that are ideal for my containers. I use them up and come back for more.

Burns a bit quicker than others
I bought these in hopes to make my candles but they seem to burn just as fast as the candles ive been buying. If you put a glue dot or hot glue you can easily stick the metal part into whatever container you're using. The price isn't bad for the amount but it just burns faster.

Good
I run a small candle business from my home, these wicks are nice I’d just caution to use less wicks depending on surface area of candle. I have had some candles burn really hot because these wicks are thicker but works great for large candles. Use less for smaller candles or they’ll get way too hot.

Good thick wick
Great works for homemade candles. I use these for beeswax candles because they are thick and braided, which is what is best for beeswax since it burns longer and is a thicker consistency.

They detach from the base
DO NOT BUY! We own a candle bar, and we ran out of our supplier wicks. We were in a bind, and had to purchase wicks from Amazon. These are the worst wicks we’ve ever had. So many of them detached from the base as we poured the wax. At least 70% of the wicks are unusable. So disappointed.

I wanted to like these..
I'm all for saving money, but unfortunately I don't think cutting corners on wicks are a good idea impo. The price point is nice and they came in quickly, but the quality wasn't there. The tabs fell off easily or I'd get my candle poured and the wick would just float out of the tab.
