Barnyard Dance! (Boynton on Board)

This board book has a darling story that is fun to read, as well as hear. Boynton wrote Barnyard Dance in a way that makes it sound almost like a song or poem. It's appropriately short for younger attention spans with cute illustrations of her characters dancing away. Highly recommend it for a gift or your own child

I love to give this little book for baby gifts- my 2 kids loved it when they were little- it is funny and the kids just recite all the lines. Cute illustraitions too.j. Good for one and up.

Sandra Boynton book. My favorite baby gift and my grown child’s most loved story. Easy to read and fun. Makes kids grow up loving to read!

I knew this was not a passive book as soon as I began reading it to my granddaughter. Oh no, we must stand up and act out the story. We find it great fun, but a little exhausting after the third or fourth reading. A small child can be held while the reader sort of acts out the movements, older children can dance along. Super good choice for the active child.

Love these Sandra Boynton books. Purchase them for baby showers for the parents to be and upcoming new babies. These are small books with sturdy cardboard stock pages perfect for little hands to hold and "read". With the simple cute stories and rhymes small children love these. This one is perfect to teach about barnyard animals and also incorporate some dancing along. My son also loved these books when he was young and now he is sharing them with his own little one.

This was one of my kids' favorites when they were little, and now my grandson is enjoying it. What can you say about Boynton? She knows the right combination of silly images, funny juxtapositions, great rhymes and sound-effects that combined makes for a very appealing book for young ages. Honestly, this is good as a very beginner book, as well as for older kids who enjoy reading it on their own. Adults find it funny, too! I can't recommend Sandra Boynton's books highly enough. You will not go wrong with a Boynton book. There's a reason her books have been so popular for so long.

This was my daughter's favorite book when she was little. You almost can't read it--you sing it lol. It's so cute and I give it along with every baby gift. Sandra Boynton is my favorite child author. You can never go wrong with her books, but this one is special.

Sandra Boynton's books are a delight and this one particularly so. I sent it to our study abroad daughter in Germany, who children are growing up bilingual. The four year old came up with her own song/dance routine after hearing it read just a few times :) The 18 month was dancing, too!
