These are NOT for a 60 mm hole, and the pictures do say it’s for a 58 mm hole, so please get the right size drill or they will slip around. These are (or were when I purchased them) bright chrome not brushed and they had rubber grommets right round which is far safer than the brushes shown which only go round part of the hole. There are sharp edges inside the wire hole as other reviewers have said and if this is left without protection (like the full rubber grommet would give) then there is a risk of wires being cut into and ELECTROCUTION. So if these do still have the rubber grommet then I think that’s far preferable to being electrocuted! Yes, you may have to cut the rubber in some case where there isn’t a removable lead to your device, (or you could of course remove and re-wire a three pin plug) but don’t cut the rubber near the back rim of the hole as that area may be sharp underneath. If you do have to cut the rubber, then just a small dab of glue should be used to join it again to keep the whole thing safe. I have come across wrong descriptions before and have found that sometimes it’s not the fault of the seller as apparently Amazon change or force the description to a similar item even if it’s then not accurate. The description and picture in this item has changed since I bought them - to information that is identical to another seller, so I think this has been changed by Amazon not the seller.

While it looks good, the internal edges are very (very) sharp. If you don't file them, they will slice into your cables.Also, note that the hole for the wires is a fraction of the diameter (see product photos). This is a great shame, as a slider to expand / reduce the opening would have been preferred.As such, they were useless to me. I put it down to experience and bought the plastic grommets (with the flanges)

These grommets are good quality and easy to fit after making the correct size holes in your desk for which I used a "Wolfcraft 5484000 60mm Bi-Metal Hole Saw with Hexagon Adapter and Centring Drill" - also available on Amazon.The only issue is that the bush is not as displayed. Rather than an open bristle bush, it's now a closed rubber affair.This means you can't pass a cable through with a large plug (such as a DVI), without getting the Stanley knife out and cutting the rubber. Not a BIG thing, and not worth dropping a star for, but just though I'd point it out.

If you can your hands on a 59mm hole saw it would be a better fit. I went for a 60mm and it’s a bit loose nothing a bit of glue wouldn’t help with. But overall good design and keeps my desk tidy

I ordered brushed chrome, the package labelling read "brushed chrome" but inside was polished chrome.

They are easy to install and look good with the chrome finish. They have a rubber insert that you’ll mostly likely take out as it’s unnecessary.

item as described however you will want to use and adhesive to hold them in place slightest pull makes them pop out of the hole (was a tight fit and still come out)
