Rubie's Official DC Super Hero Girl's Deluxe Harley Quinn Costume - Large, World Book Day

I read the previous reviews and was actually pleasantly surprised with the costume. Yes, the top is scratchy so my daughter will wear another top underneath, and it does come up big so I ordered the small size for my 6 and a half year old, but otherwise I like it. More importantly, she likes it.

My 5 year 11 months daughter choose this Harrley Quinn outfit for world book day, so we bought this in a medium age 5/7 and arrived the next day, so on arrival she was so excieted and couldn’t wait to try on.So on went the leggings and instantly i could see they were far to baggy in the legs to my little girls dismay who thought they were great, so i stopped her from trying anything ealse, intending to return and rebuy in a smaller size but i was’nt able to, after some thought the next day i deceided to see if i could get them taken in but this didnt work out.Not wanting to dissapoint her i told her to try the rest of costume and i was amazed with the quaility and design of Harley’s top and it fitted her perfectly so on went the mask and arm cuff we didnt put the tie up belt on or hair pieces but she still looked amazing i was determend i would work something out.So i bought a pair of 60 denyer tights put them on her i then cut a leg off a pair of red tights she had and put these on her giving her the two coloured look on went a pair off hot pants from christmas and we had our Harley Quinn who was over joyed with her look. Even tho we didnt use the leggings we still managed to fix Harleys outfit for two pounds and my little girl had the biggest smile when she wasnt in her Harley Quinn character. I would still recommend just be awear you may have to take these leggings in or buy some tights.If you found this review helpful please click on to helpful. Thank you

I bought size large for my 10 year old. Fit was ok though a bit short as seen in photo.Overall, I was happy with purchase as it was not bad at all.She wore a top underneath as I read it could be very itchy.

Bought the age 8-10 for my 9 year old and it swamped her. She's average height. Yes, she's slim as she's an athlete but still. Could have got me and her in there together! Having to return and not even sure the fit on the next size down will be much better for her so we are wearing a different costume now.If your child is athletic and slim, avoid this costume. It will drown them! The leggings particularly are very very baggy and not at all how they look in the picture. The top is lovely and sparkly though and the accessories seem good (didn't open to have a good look though) Delivery was fast through Prime.

I bought the largest size as previous reviews said the bottoms were massive but the glittery top was much smaller, so for my 8 year old the top fit great with room for movement and dancing about, not tight and room to still fit in a year I'd say. The bottoms were massive and fit me! I carefully sewed the leggings to a suitable fit for my daughter. She didn't mind, she loves the outfit NOW that the leggings fit. How very strange that the sizing is SO very OFF. I washed the outfit on it's own on a 30 degrees quick wash and it came out fine. The accessories were a great addition although the hair pieces were very thin, I had to gently comb the red and blue hair to fan it out over her side ponytails/peektails to get a better effect, so with tweeking in parts and a massive sewing task, this outfit ended up great but I don't expect to buy something and have to tweek it to make it right.

I bought a size 8-10 and my daughter is 9, but the outfit was way to big! She was able to wear the top but the bottom was too loose. The outfits would be great if it fit. I would recommend going a size down then what your child is as it’s not true to size!

The media could not be loaded.  This product was for Halloween for my 9 year old, she opened it so excited to wear it and found that 1 pair of the hair clips was broken. Great value for money

Not true to size. Legging are long enough and not far of the size guide shown. It the top is very small fitting. My daughter is very very slim and tall and it didn’t fit her top half
