Filthy Muk Gritty Finish Firm Hold Paste 95 g

Love the smell of Muk products, amazing quality hair mud - gives great hold & texture, and it's easy to wash out.

My partner is absolutely obsessed with it.

The product is not very sticky nor like a melted caramel. Which is a great thing. Many products out there are too sticky or too soft. So texture, check.Once used, I thought the 'Gritty finish' meant the opposite of 'shiny'. To a degree, it is true. But I think this is a gimmick. Any hair products, especially hair pastes will eventually get shiny. If you've over loaded, or applied for purpose.The 'Firm Hold' as advertised, is negotiable. If it can't hold my 1 inch hair firm, well...Ideally, a non scented version would be nice. It has the green apple scent, for those that are into such fruity smells.

I have messy hair that wont stay in place, apply to dry hair and shape how you want. It stays in place for the whole day, but you must wash out with shampoo in evening before sleeping.

Great bit of kit

Been using Muk for 10+ years, latest batch was terrible. White flakes throughout which makes you look like you have dandruff! Really puts me off ordering again, which is a shame as it’s been such a great product for years.

It says what it does on the tin but it doesn't make my hair mukky though. I like this product and I don't like products in my hair. I have fly away hair which in a light breeze makes me look like I have been towed behind a tractor for a couple of miles and this does take away my smouldering good looks and as a consequence my professionalism takes a serious hit too. Hardly the look I am after. It also washes off my hands easily which satisfies my OCD and also a ton of soap that so many greasy products are based on, cheap and expensive. I don't want or need the Jonny Rotten look but it does allow it if required. I can though get a natural look and it means in a gentle breeze I won't involuntarily end up looking like a startled hot mess.

Great for short/mid length hair. I use this product ever since being introduced by my barber. I tend to go for a French cropped/messy style which this is perfect for. It easily washed out!
