Lovely soft chunky yarn
The media could not be loaded. I chose this pack of chunky wool as I am teaching myself to crochet. I have struggled with some of the thinner yarns (double knitting weight), so thought this might be easier for a beginner.At the time of ordering, there was a choice of 4 multi-coloured balls (black, white, red and pink), or 6 grey balls. Each ball is approx 100 g. I chose the multi-colour pack.When it arrived I was surprised at how BIG the balls are ! They measure approx 11 cms x 11 cms (as you will see in my photos). The yarn is described as polyester, but it feels very soft, almost like a chenille. The width of the yarn is approx 8 mm.Verdict:-I am very happy with the quality of this yarn, and it is super-soft and cosy, so would be lovely for a snuggly scarf. In retrospect, although these colours are lovely, I wish I had gone for the 6 balls in grey, as this would allow for a bigger project, as I am not sure what I can make with these single colours. That's probably more down to me being a beginner.Also, as a beginner, I would have liked some guidance as to what size crochet hook to use. I only have the smaller sized hooks, and will need to purchase a new hook for this yarn, but I'm not sure what size to buy. With yarn I have bought in the past, it has a band around it which indicates the size of hook/knitting needles required.I hope you found my video and review helpful.

Soft , fluffy and 6 in a pack
This very soft to the touch. It's nice and foamy, has a nice bounce to it. It's a nice grey colour, not the easiyto deal with but manageable.Made a nice scarf for one of the kids and they loved it. Price is about right.
