Improv Electronics Boogie Board Jot 8.5 LCD eWriter - Black

As I am now a Larygnectory person due to cancer and having my voice box removed,until I learn to speak again this boogie boardis simply the best way to communicate with others ,It just works brilliantly.It arrived the next day after ordering it too, A very quick delivery service :)Ps, you will need to get a protective cover for it which I just ordered off amazon for £8, Well worth it.All in all I am very happy and would recommend it without hesitation... Excellent product :)

Far better than the original Boogie Board - much clearer display - generally better made than original, and magnetic back sticks well on my fridge. Only 4 stars as I was hoping the display would be even better.

Bought 2 of these now, great fridge magnet, I use them for mostly for shopping lists and occasional family reminders, when I go shopping I usually take a photo of the screen content on my iPhone to carry to the shop, because its in the kitchen everytime we run out of stuff from the fridge or cupboard it goes straight on the list.

Novelty

Flimsy and cheaply made. Very difficult to remove from the packaging - but persevere and don't damage it as you might need it to send it back. Mine would not erase. Tried the lock/unlock switch in both positions. Checked the battery. Tried holding down the erase button. Nothing would make it erase. It is going back and I have asked for my money back. Even if it worked it is not very impressive for the price. If they halve the price I might reconsider it.

Works as supposed. Would like a higher contrast between background and writing - hard to read in dim light conditions. Limits the usability.

It does everything as expected and quality is very good

Really useful, simple jotter that saves on paper. I use it for a simple to do list, for drawing sketches and for planning routes.
