The White Lotus: Season 2 [DVD] [2022] [2023]

Did you enjoy/like season ONE??? Could you accept all the "F" words and constant sex references and some startling shocks? If you did you will surely love series TWO. If you are not familiar with the format and content...Be aware! The writers have been smart. A glorious. spectacular location for the "new" White Lotus hotel. The same basic premise - Hotel managed by bizarre exccentric and staffed by characters all with their personal problems. The "Guests"...A diverse bunch of very sad, complicated men and women who all have serious problems to deal with. These problems being almost all of a sexual nature and dealing with mixed up personal relationships. I must add that the sex scenes are more explicit if fairly brief, and the "F" word is still in constant use. The acting is superb. I will only pick two out of the lot...Tom Hollander exudes charm and menace, and an actor new to me, Leo Woodall who plays his nephew. His performence is so utterly convincing as a lairy sweary (he can't say one sentence wout swearing) rascal that I wondered if the accent was his or just superb acting. The whole serial builds the tension to almost an unbearable level by Episode 7, with the writing being so good, which gives all the actors something to grab and run with. Definitley Adults ONLY. I hope they do a series three, and if they do I will certainly be the first to preorder.
