Tried everywhere to get a piston ring compressor on the off chance tried Amazon. Of course they had some. This was the cheapest of the lit and did the trick. Great item.

It worked brilliantly for the first 8 uses and then fell apart, so in my experience its good for one job only. The locking mechanism wore out very quickly. So if you only have one engine to do then its fine.

Utterly useless.Very poor quality, ratchet failed within an hour.The compression ring is central to the device meaning that the oil control rings do not get fully compressed.This is an absolute waste of money.

Does exactly what it says on the cover at an affordable price. This is a tool your not going to use everyday, so its good to see quality at an affordable price

Never used a piston ring compressor before so I was very cautious. Worked well inserting the pistons into the barrels on my Vw T3. Lubricate everything with engine oil, tighten right up & gently tap piston with a block of wood✅

My Partner loved this tool he rebuilt a engine and this tool worked perfect for him

I purchased this for a 65mm piston as the advert states that it is good for 53 - 175mm it is not. It will not compress smaller than 68mm and that requires extreme torque to be applied the the turn key. This was a complete waste of money and I advise any purchaser not to buy this for any piston smaller than 85mm.J'ai acheté ceci pour un piston de 65 mm car la publicité indique que c'est bon pour 53 - 175 mm, ce n'est pas le cas. Il ne compresse pas plus petit que 68mm et cela nécessite un couple extrême pour être appliqué à la clé en tour. C’était un gaspillage total d’argent et je déconseille à tout acheteur de l’acheter pour des pistons de moins de 85 mm.

Der Kolbenringspanner kam heute erst an und ich hatte leider noch keine Möglichkeit ihn aus zu probieren.Allerdings macht er vom Produkt her schon einen vernünftigen Eindruck und ist auch mit denen aus einer Fachwerkstatt zu vergleichen.Den einen Stern gabs nur dafür, dass ich ein neues Produkt bestellt hatte und kein gebrauchtes!Auch wenn die Kratzer, Macken und Schleifspuren der Funktion nicht im Wege stehen, habe ich für ein neuwertiges Produkt bezahlt! So etwas geht mir persönlich echt gegen den Strich.
