19.7inch Battery Operated Wireless Picture Light，Remote Control Painting Display Lights, Rechargeable Wall Lights with Three Modes and Power Display for Art Frame

EAYOYAE 19.7 " painting display -so far a great value for the money (too early to speak to battery life). Very simple, quick, solid installation into drywall with included anchors and screws (I got extras included for screw-ups, I guess). The whole light is modern, stylish, well-crafted black metal. It is lightweight, but feels substantial, with a strong magnet holding the light bar in its place. I illuminated 24 x 18" photos perfectly, and found the warmer of three LED settings to my taste. Recieved FOUR remote controls (two for each lamp-expecting mishaps again?). VERY, very subtle complaint: The advertised bracket is "Z" shaped, with the screw holes ABOVE the bracket on the wall, mostly obscured by the bar when viewed from picture level. My brackets are "U" shaped, with the screw holes BELOW the bracket, visible just above the picture frame. Thinking to invert the bracket installation against the wall doesn't work. That would position the curved magnet BELOW the light, blocking a small gap of light, and most importantly, placing the magnet out of contact with metal, just against the opening that the light shines through. I read review/complaint of magnet failure/light bar dropping onto and damaging artwork. The magnet is STRONG/not prone to failure. I believe the owner must have placed the bracket, or light incorrectly. Installation tips: Do use a stud-finder, or drill tiny test holes before final drilling for anchors. I glanced off a stud behind the drywall and caused some extra work. Place 1-1/2" of black electrical tape on the wall right below your screws, before attaching bracket-It will neatly black out the keyholes around the screw heads (compare visible white keyholes in product image vs. installation with tape closeup). Another review concerned the tiny LED power display on the end of the bar-possibly interfering with the overall appearance. The geek in me thinks it is cool, but I found rotating the bar so power display FACES THE WALL actually provided more substantial light to the artwork while making the switch/display invisible. Locating the power switch was still very easy.

Was quick to install, it's very bright but dimmable, the angle of the light is just right so that it hits the artwork but never shines you in the eye. Love the timer function and ability to swtich between warm and cool color tones. I'm definitely buying more of these! Since I just got it today I can't yet comment on battery life but I'm sure it's decent as most of these types of things are. I love that the sleek magnetic mount makes it efforless to detach and charge, and tilt just right.My only suggestion for improvement is that the wall mount should turn down not up, so that you can hide it behind your frame, or even mount it to the frame.

We purchased something else that broke immediately! I returned that and am so glad we did! This is beautiful! And so easy to use!!!!! We couldn't be happier!

Re: prior review. You do need to use better screw inserts than those supplied. Otherwise, item is easily installed and works as advertised. Remote does not work beyond six feet from unit may be battery quality. Be sure you can see blue light for remote to contact sensor. Could use clearer install instructions so one can hide mount attachment behind picture, so its screws are not visible. Magnet works well and holds light where you position.

I just moved a couple of months ago and I had to rearrange my stuff. I decided to mount a photograph I took a few years back behind my chandelier because that was the only place for it. I thought the chandelier would illuminate the picture. I was wrong. I needed a picture light that didn't have a cord because it would be difficult to hide it. I discovered this picture light and I was apprehensive because it was rechargeable and it's led. I'm used to halogen picture lights. I took a picture of before and after so you can see how it does enhance the picture. Highly recommend it, this is much better than I thought. If you got challenges then I recommend this is the way to go. There is no more stylish looking picture light. I like the round cylinder tube because you can turn it and it won't look awkward turned. Other rechargeables I don't think would look as good as this one does.

Awesome Product

I had a longer version of this light. It came already charged, ran it for a couple hours a night and it lasted weeks before needing a recharge. However this shorter version did not come charged and won’t hold a charge for more than 2 nights at just a couple of hours. This renders it useless. I am guessing I got one with a bad battery, but the battery is not replaceable, so you are throwing the dice when you get this as to whether it will keep a charge or not. I am beyond the return at this point as I installed it a few weeks after I got it and assumed it would keep the charge like the other one I got. If you get this, try it to make sure it works at least a week or two (or up to the return date) to make sure you got a good one.

Stopped working on second day after installation . Simply would not charge . A complete waste of money
