45CM IDE Ribbon Lead - Connect IDE Devices to Motherboard with 80 CORE Cable

Got this as a replacement for my original Xbox drive cable so I could fit a larger SATA hard drive to it using the ide to sata adapter it work's well although you do need to be a bit careful when closing the case to make sure it is not over one of the screw holes. All in all good value for the price, easy to fit

these cables work fine and i have used a lot (also ruined a lot) they are not very good build quality.but they're cheap.they don't stand any pushing/pulling. once they're inserted that's itthey will break removing if not very very carful.

The cable works as expected in my OG Xbox however the cable is abit short from the main board to the optical drive and the cable seems like it's under a little too much tension on that end. From the optical end to the HDD end the length is adequate.The middle IDE connection (optical) could be improved by being installed 2cm or so further from the main board end and the overall length would benefit from being 47cm rather than 45cm.Overall great quality and price

I replaced the standard hard drive in my og Xbox with a SATA drive and with the IDE to SATA adapter the Xbox wouldn't boot without upgrading the IDE cable. This cable did the job perfectly.

Worth it for the price. I use to upgrade original xbox hard drives and work as 80 wire and with udma5 with a good adaptor. Connectors are very poor and fall apart if you don't remove them very carefully (or do)Good if you connect them and don't need to touch them again
