Came with all the parts, and a load of crimps which was very handy. The metal that holds the towbar socket on was too large for my purposes with a demountable tow bar so I had to cut it down.

Replacement item
The tow bar electrics supplied by the tow bar fitting company lasted 18 months and it was smashed to pieces and rusty inside when removed for replacement. This was a cheap unit that acted as a donor to give me the parts I needed to carry out a repair. The bracket was cut and bent for my application to avoid the risk of damage by grounding out and although this left it more likely to allow water to enter the socket if the seal was poor it has remained dry inside. Great value for money and cheaper than buying the individual component parts needed for my repair.

Excellent item, usually lasts about 10 years
I always buy these when I do conversions or repairs on my vehicles. I am a IPC/WHMA instructor. They typically last 10 years. I noted this time the quality is actually better than the last version I bought. This one has crimps on the bare wires for more secure clamping in the screw fit. The previous version (10 years ago) wasn't really up to harness standards on the stripped ends but even so lasted 10 years until I bought this one.
