Samsung MC256DA/AMZ Evo Plus Series 256GB Micro SDXC Memory Card with Adapter

The packaging on product received says read speed is up to 80 MB/s and write is up to 20 MBs - sellers description on web site says Capable of transfer rates up to 95MB/s read and 90MB/s when writing. The Samsung web site also states speeds of 95 & 90. So the card is going back. Sadly this is the second problem I have had with Micro SDXC cards, I bought a 256 Gbyte Sandisk via ebay and tested it before use, sadly it failed, as soon as I wrote some 40 Gbyte of data to it, it lost about 2,000 files, seller did credit me immediately. So there's a lesson, read the packaging, and test the card before you start trusting it.

Was listed as 95 MB/s read and 90 MB/s write but in reality (after various testing) it achieves 82.169 MB/s read and 28.743 MB/s write which is quite a disappointment. Need it for a trip so no time to return.

The product I received did not match the spec of the advertised product (much lower write speed advertised on the packaging and reduced storage space in reality than a typical genuine Samsung product of this type) and appeared to be a Chinese counterfeit. I identified this as the SD Card had a black edge (genuine ones are white), and was made in China (Samsung make their cards in Korea and Philippines - Only the SD holders are made in china). I was trying to install a Raspberry Pi file which required 256GB which would not fit on the SD card provided.

Avevo già comprato una schedina Samsung uguale a questa senza problemiMa nell’ultimo acquisto mi è arrivata una sd danneggiata e inutilizzabile
