Fizik R4B Uomo BOA Carbon

I got this pair of shoes on sale. Really great value and I love it!!

Very happy with these. They replace a 10 year old set of full carbon CAT-1 shoes that I loved until they fell apart. The are lighter weight and appear to be reasonably well made. Maybe not as robust as my old CAT-1s but we will see over time. The fit is very good, the one turn adjustment makes getting in and out a breeze. Even though the sole is not full carbon these are plenty stiff for all but the most die hard professional racer. Regrettably they only had my size in white and, well, they are white. What can I say? They are already getting scuffed up (which is fine, call them battle scars) but if they had black I would have ordered those instead.

The shoe fits like a glove and is very light. The cable system works great and is easy to use. The shoe does run narrow and I had to order one size larger. I had Peloton shoes originally size 13 and this size was the same for this shoe.

Nicely made shoe. I have narrow feet (B width). They felt good as soon as I put them on. The BOA closer snugs things up nicely. The toe box is a bit wider so you do not jam your toes. The sole seems stiff enough for my kind of riding (less than 100 mi per week in several sessions). The only drawback is that the rear heal pad is not replaceable, typical for shoes in this price range.Shipping was pronto.

I’m so impressed with these for so many reasons. They’re light. They breathe well. They have carbon injected soles that give the right amount of rigidity. The Boa clasp makes all the difference. I was worried the cable might break, but after using them for a few hundred miles, I doubt it. They look very narrow, but actually aren’t.I only wish they made regular shoes. lol

True to size. These are another level. Once you put them on it feels different and looks different. Amazing cycling shoe.

So I bought these to finally upgrade to cycling shoes for my road bike and I've been loving every moment. I had to get Shimano SM-SH41 SPD Cleat Adapters because I use spd pedals but they work perfectly in conjunction. I've done about 200 miles in rides since getting them and haven't had an issue yet!

This shoes is simply great looking and functional. I may add in inserts later for additional comfort, but nice shoe. Did a century ride with them out of the box and they fit like a glove!

Fit well and feel like wearing slippers. I highly recommend.

I had a pair of R5B, and have a pair of R3B shoes. The R5 in a size EUR 46 was too small. The R3 in a 47 is perfect, but the new range R4 is way too big in a 47, if you put them next to the R3, they look about 7mm longer. So im returning mine and getting a size down.Otherwise they are made really well and a step up form the previous generation of fizik shoes.

Confortevole, e stylosa, ma certo non paragonabile come spinta ad una scarpa top di gamma con suola rigida in carbonio.D'altro canto costa meno, è confortevole ed è molto elegante. La consiglio!
