The original Kohler seats lasted twenty four years. Eventually, the mount point insert wore and the seats became... challenging.The new seats were easy to install, very stable, and the quick release features does make cleaning easier. The slow close feature is nice. No more slamming toilet seats in the middle of the night. Typical Kohler high quality.

You may say it's just a toilet seat after all utilitarian and ordinary. If anyone in your family has knee issues or arthritis this seat is terrific for them. May I add it is easy to clean and has a pop off feature and nice bumpers.It is is also easy close so no banging or noise at all. Good night feature.

It took more effort to get the old toilet seat off versus how long it took to install the new one. You will not be disappointed with this one. Great buy.

Very comfortable and I just love the quiet close.UPDATE: 11/2017seat has begun to peel off top layer of the seat coating. Whitish, flexible material bubbling up and peeling off. Not sure why. I have only used the Lysol sanitizing wipes to clean this in the few years that I've had it. Its in my master bath, so doesn't get a ton of use.Also, the quiet close feature stopped working for the lid about a year or so after purchase. It works to quietly close the seat portion, but the lid just slams down.I am currently in contact with Kohler now, hoping they will stand by their product and replace the defective seat. I will update once that correspondence has been completed.

Needed a new toilet seat, after having a problem with an after market flush handle, I decided to go for an original manufacture replacement. I look and works great. It was easy to install, but the replacement is just not as robust as the original seat the was solid. The new one kind of hollowed out, which makes me think it will be more likely to break in the future. I hope this helps

It pays to read all the specifications twice. The seat fits better than the original seat that came with the toilet. Very pleased.

Flimsy. In a week’s time it had to be tightened. In another week it came apart and I replaced it with a different brand. Thought this brand was one of the best—but not.

Easy to install, very stable

Replaced the wooden seat and this is so much better. Easy to clean and slow close lid is awesome.

Arrived quickly & was exactly as described. Bought these for two Kohler toilets that are 9 years old. They arrived when a contractor was working at our house so he installed them - it didn't take him long & he didn't complain about it being difficult. Looks nice on the toilet.
