I decided to buy the blue gun because as a part of a Resident Evil Halloween costume.Only some minor craftsmanship issues; minor sharp edges and sloppy details. That's not the fault of BLUEGUN, just the nature of mold injected models I think.It's also made of resin so over time, you may experience some wear and even portions of the replica might chip off. The hammer of my previous blue gun broke off because of wrestling/training - still good tho :)A major issue I have is the price; I paid a total of over $90.00 including taxes and shipping for a RESIN replica...almost 20% of the price the real handguns about a decade ago! ($450-$500)Major pros about this is the authenticity - all blue guns are indeed the exact size of the real firearm . Also it fits into real holsters so you can show off your draw from an 90s era Safariland holster in your RPD cosplay. On top of that, you're not gonna get side-eyed at the convention center because this is not an airsoft gun w/o the orange tip. For movies or YT skits, you can always paint it using acrylic paint.Long story short, I think $70+ is too expensive for a molded resin handgun replica but I've got to say you are getting a 95% quality product. With some light sanding, painting, and super glue for repairs, you can really show off a pretty piece without paying more for airsoft replicas, or risk safety, legality of waving around a BB gun in a public building. You can also practice drawing or gun disarm drills w/o unnecessary wear to holsters or with a less chance of a busted lip.Being born and raised in Hawaii, I remember seeing every HPD officer/state deputy with a holstered 5906 9mm pistol. So to me, its both a prop and a nostalgia piece until I find the real deal. So if you have the reasons and the wallet, see if these resin replicas are your thing!
