Amazing socks, especially for those with sensory sensitivity issues.
I'm extremely picky about tactile stimuli, socks have always been a challenge for me... The seam has to run above the toe not at the end; They need to feel soft and not scratchy but durable; They and have a little compression, but not too much; etc. If anything is off with my socks it literally socks drive me crazy, like that itch that can't be scratched but can't be ignored crazy.I have not used for hiking or high activity yet but based on what I have seen, I don't see there being any unexpected differences. These have been amazing, the seam runs over the toes, but is barely noticeable. There's not as much stretch as I'm used to but that's likely due to material differences, after a week of breaking them in they have a little bit of stretch for compression but have otherwise molded themselves to the shape of my feet, so the "lack of stretch" is not a problem. Best of all they are warm but breath so my feet stay dry in day-to-day usage while padded and comfortable. As far as I've experienced, they are definitely worth the price.

Unbeatable Performance and Enduring Quality
These Darn Tough 1959-C-1023-06 Hiker 1/4 Midweight socks have become my go-to choice for staying warm and dry on cold, wet days. They pair exceptionally well with my ankle-high boots, making them perfect for muddy seasons and outdoor adventures. Even when these socks are exposed to water, they maintain their ability to keep my feet warm and comfortable.Darn Tough has truly mastered the art of crafting durable socks, and this pair is no exception. As a 255lb man, I've struggled with socks wearing down quickly, often disintegrating within a year. However, these socks have proven to be remarkably resilient. After a quick wash in cold water and a cold tumble dry, they bounce back into shape, almost like they're made of nitinol. But what sets these Darn Tough socks apart is their outstanding lifetime warranty. The confidence in their product is evident with this policy – if the socks ever break down for any reason, you can exchange the old pair for a brand new pair. I purchased three pairs of Darn Tough socks throughout 2022, and to my amazement, all of them are still in prime condition. These socks have exceeded my expectations and become the only ones I wholeheartedly recommend. In conclusion, the Darn Tough 1959-C-1023-06 Hiker 1/4 Midweight socks are a true winner. With their unbeatable performance, warm merino wool, and ability to withstand wear and tear, they are the perfect companion for cold, wet days and any outdoor activities. Add to that the impressive lifetime warranty, and you have a sock that not only keeps your feet happy but also gives you peace of mind for the long haul. Darn Tough has won me over with their exceptional quality, and I can't imagine recommending any other socks.

Great Fit and Feel
Great colors (blue and grey with orange striping. The size L socks fit my size 11.5 -12 feet well. The socks have a medium cushion on the sole and heel and a little less cushioning on top.The toe area is smooth and seamless. The fabric was initially more rough compared to other premium and non-premium brands I've tried, but I'm familiar with Darn Tough socks and this was expected. My belief is that this characteristic contributes to their durability.Although somewhat harsh feeling when new, they proved comfortable during use and softened up after a few washings: they are still going strong.Probably too warm for summer in the tropics, but otherwise a good weight, providing a good balance among cushioning, breathability, and warmth.I recommend these socks and wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair. They are great for hiking and traveling. After machine washing in cold, I accidentally put these in the dryer and they shrank some, but we're still usable. A few cold water washings with air drying mostly restored the size. I'm now more diligent about air drying these high-end socks.

Decent socks
This sock runs a bit thin so, it’s more suited for warmer weather wear. I love how it hugs my feet though compared to the orange and black darn tough socks which hangs looks a little at the toes. Washability is no problem, no colors fading. Very breathable and my feet don’t stink.

Darn Tough - The only socks we wear 🧦
My husband & I have worn Darn Tough socks for over 7 years. We still have the original pairs…they just don’t wear out. In the Summer, the shorter lighter versions are great. In the Winter, the cushioned heavier pairs keep your feet 👣 warm & dry.So cosy & comfortable in bed on a cold night. We love the designs. Yes, they’re expensive, but worth every penny.

Shockingly warm, don't dry super fast
I hiked with these and lone peaks in the snow and they were perfect, even when damp. I kept expecting the cold to creep in, and it never did. My issue was they never dried out. To be fair the trail was fairly damp, but i did no stream crossings or big puddles etc.I ended up getting blisters in between my toes from the moisture. I hung the socks inside my tent at night, but they were still damp the next morning. I'll probably just end up taking one or two more pairs, but I was disappointed that the legendary darn tough let me down somewhat. On a dry trail, I'd still rock them for warmth all day, but had better damp performance from my synthetic bombas trail socks in the oregon spring.Fit - I have wide 11.5s and these were some of the best fitting socks I've ever bought. They're still well-fitting, but definitely more accomodating for us big foot types and super comfy when dry.

De los mejores y más resistentes calcetines.
Son muy buenos, resistentes y cómodos. No son baratos, pero duran mucho más que cualquier otro par que haya comprado. Para talla 30 cm (12 US), tiene mejor ajuste L que XL.
