I bought this to grease the propshaft centre bearing on an all-wheel-drive Jaguar X-type. Due to various things getting in the way, the flexible hose on this needle is a godsend, as it allowed me to inject grease into all (including the nearly-unreachable 12-O'Clock-positioned) injection points in the bearing housing. The needle itself is quite thin, so be careful you don't accidentally stab yourself with it. Despite this, I had no trouble squeezing grease through it with a small Hilka grease-gun. The fine gauge of the needle is perfect for getting into tight spaces and "sealed for life" bearings that have already run dry. It's also quite tough and durable: In the restricted space under my car I managed to bend the needle and straighten it out again, and it didn't snap and still works. It's also very quick and convenient to use. It pops straight on and off a standard quick-release grease-gun fitment. You could probably unscrew the fitment and screw it directly into your gun if needs be, but I didn't feel the need to do so. The sliding cover also reduces the chances of the attachment inadvertantly popping off when used at awkward angles in tight spaces. It doesn't prevent it completely, but certainly helps. All-in-all, this is a fantastic product, extremely well made, and does exactly what it's supposed to. I'd definitely recommend this to a friend.

best deal for a quick attach grease needle. I lubed the non-serviceable ball joints on my polaris sportsman 500, 325, and 250 with this bad boy! Needly will break if forced.

the needle is very soft material . it bent every time i tried to slip it by the seal on a bearing. After bending it slightly 3 times it broke. I had one of these that I used for probably 100 bearings till breaking it so I was very disappointed with this one. DON'T BUY

My XRF lower Ball joints were not accepting any grease through the Zerk, as they claim is normal when new. After two years I still could not get any grease into the BJ, and decided to get grease into the boot with this product. Shortly after bulging the boot slightly with this product, the zerk started allowing the grease gun to inject grease into the ball joint through the Zerk. The minimal hole caused by the needle is not an issue, and I am happy the grease is where it needs to be, and can now be purged from the ball joint as designed.
